"I will make this banana disappear!" the short, silver-haired magician confidently says to the crowd of wizardresses in training.
Her audience, a small group of middle aged eastern immigrants, eagerly watches as she carefully places the white chicken necked banana into her mysterious black box and covers it with velvet hands conditioned with gallons and gallons of industrial strength lotion and oil over the past 33 years.
The magician waves the wand, says “abracadabra meluvulongtime,” and quickly removes the soft skilled hands as well as the special digit that had been inserted in the rear of the assistant. She reveals the banana has vanished and turned literally into white cream in her hands. The new wizardresses collectively gasp and giggle in astonishment. Another happy ending followed by hot wet towels and 10 ounces of great value water until next time. Truly a disappearing banana magic trick if I ever saw one.
