I should have probably posted this but chalked it up to just bad timing and didn't want to mess up someone's rep over a little $.

A month or so back, Cherri and I messaged. She was going to come for a visit and requested $50 deposit to help cover transportation. Despite my better judgment, I agreed.

An hour before, she starts flaking and then doesn't respond. I leave it be and think it's over. She messages 3 days later looking to "make it up to me". By that time, I had met with another provider and asked for the deposit back. She said no and that it's like gambling, sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't.
