If I read the story correctly, she used reverse photo lookup to learn who he was at the time of the first visit. Presumably she saw he was running for congress and saw the potential for profit down the road. But before she could blackmail him, he allegedly ran out without paying. Just speculation, obviously but it hangs together on first blush.

He was the leading candidate in the Republican primary to run against Collin Allred. Had the endorsement of the DMN. He not some fringe candidate. But being against “trafficking” and seeing a hooker is OK. Sort of like assaulting cops while “engaging in legitimate political discourse” while trying to overturn the lawful results if an election.
