I was told that it was strange that I was willing to compensate a lady for her time for a few hours netflix'n chill'n like I love just laying on the couch watching tv, but that it was totally fine to spend 200 on dinner and another 100 at the movies. The general idea is that you have a provider on retainer. Some arrangements are exclusive (meaning she sees other men and pretends you're the only one) and some are not exclusive (meaning she sees other men and doesn't bother to pretend you're the only one).

Most men who have participated in such an arrangement found they don't last too terribly long for a variety of reasons. And these men don't tend to be serial participants. I think as a whole, most men in the hobby prefer variety and spontaneity. I may or may not be speaking from experience.

This having been said, there are success stories out there, where a lady and gentleman are committed to the arrangement over a protracted period of time. These, of course, are infrequent and without question expensive.

this does make a ton of sense. It's the trust building thing that is annoying. I was so happy years ago finding a few of these sites, but there have been way more disappointments than fruitful correspondences. I'm sure the same can be said from the other side of the coin.

The problem with Seeking is you have to have both the lady and man be paid members ($100/month) to read messages.

So if you have a membership and the lady does not, there won't be any communication at all going on. It's a complete waste of time.
