This instance, 24h on Hwy 6, seems like much ado over nothing. It sounds like a traffic stop and maybe the perp had a long line of warrants so more police came in. I've seen that happen on every highway in HTX. Like other stated, this place has been closed for years (and never got good reviews).
While I don't know everything about undercover operations, I do know that the holographic print, or light gray on white, is used heavily for traffic enforcement. HPD also has black cars with dark gray 'police' on the side just to keep it interesting to the lead footed.
If this were a bust common sense says that UC would use completely unmarked cars until it's door busting time. By that time, you don't need to be discreet as the popo just come in with clearly marked cars. Why borrow from traffic enforcement just for a bust that could giveaway the operation? Just use the unmarked cars you have and then use marked ones to haul away the perps.
If you have plates and descriptions for UC cars you have something but this instance, 24h on Hwy 6, just does not add up to me logically at all as being a bust.
