I bet Governor Abbot and Ken Paxton came to town and put up the above sign on their own.
I'm sure the Democratic controlled city of Houston and Harris County had absolutely nothing to do with it.

Chances are you'll be fine, gasmonkey. Not everybody will be however.

Not sure if you are aware, but a Democrat from houston brought this overly punitive and unconstitutional bull forward. Its bipartisan. Thats actually the worst part of it. Both sides of the aisle are now full on authoritarian. We need to organize against this.

RD-This excerpt is what I'm talking about when it comes to voting. IDC which side of the aisle you're on this is complete and utter BS directly targeting us. If this doesn't infuriate you then let your other voting rights erode too b/c you don't give a f; however, I'm going to fight with MY vote:

https://www.texastribune.org/2021/07...ecial-session/

"In Senate Bill 1 and House Bill 3, both chambers have revived proposals to further clamp down the state’s voting-by-mail rules, and rein in initiatives that Harris County — the state’s largest county that is home to Houston and a diverse population — attempted in 2020 to widen access to voting.

Both bills carry over measures from the regular session to bolster protections for partisan poll watchers and embrace new ID requirements for voting by mail that were added at the last minute to the sweeping voting bill, known as Senate Bill 7, that Democrats doomed in May when they staged an 11th hour walkout to break quorum."

I used to like hot wheels until he pulled this voting crap on us! If you don't fight this voting rights bill or this sex worker bill then it's ALL going to go away. Yes Mudd, this is bipartisan tyrany.

Now is the time to get your favorite providers numbers. And see if they are willing to accommodate outside of the parlor

Good for the Republicans!! Voter reform is looooong overdue.
The only reason you are crying about it all is because you know the democrats can't win unless they cheat.

How else do you explain certain people continually winning re-election....Sheila Jackson Lee, Annise Porker, John McCain, Joe Manchin, Harry Reid, John Coryn....and yes, Joe Biden and the list goes on and on and on The guy who couldn't draw 8 people to a rally somehow received more votes than any president ever.

Ken Paxton has done great work and will definitely be receiving my vote in his primary and hopefully in the general election

RD, look I'm not trying to sway your political view or vote democratic. If other states can do mail in voting without fraud why can't Texas? Five states do it exclusively and hot wheels doesn't want to give to that, he wants to take it away. THAT is why hot wheels and corrupt Kenny will never ever have my vote.

As of July 2020, five states – Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah and Washington – hold elections almost entirely by mail. Postal voting is an option in 33 states and the District of Columbia.

And no, I'm not 'crying about it' because I want any democrat to win but you must be OK with your own rights eroding. Like I've said about 5x in this thread, I'm against any erosion of our rights and it doesn't matter if your R OR D, lower rights are exactly what this thread is debated about. So if you want to lose your rights, go ahead, but my vote will be with any party that expands our freedoms and doesn't limit them.

FYI-For president I didn't vote for Trump or Biden b/c to be honest I didn't like either and I walked into a local polling office for the record.

Why do I get the feeling this is going to be another Y2K?

LL-I'm thinking it will be Y2K all over again (minus the IT consultants programming in Cobol).

I think this is much ado over nothing too and will simply hit the streets. If you're busted in that condition-good luck; however, if you're in a spa that does massages I was just enjoying a massage...it's sooo good it gave me an erection as you can see. You should try one too officer

Literally the only way to bust is just like they did in FL for Belichick with UC video and then you still have to be dumb to state I'm paying for X. Me-I just pay for time and I'm a generous believer in college education funds. So either go to R+T or FS depending on what you want, don't discuss what is going on, and wish for the best and 99.9% of the time you'll probably be A-OK.

We didn't have planes falling out of the sky 1/1/2001 and I don't think we will here either. Let's wait and see and leave those Cobol programmers in retirement.

Back when the ads were in free papers in the lobbies of the strip clubs and book stores.

Actually, it was years ago. And soon you'll have to get a new number of your own.

Those are some fine examples you cited there.
Yeah, sure you didn't vote for Biden.

If you get busted and charged with a felony, let me know the politician that posts your bail. Till then, lay off the fkn politics.

Ran the track last night, 75% of people were gone. Chevron looked like you could actually pump gas there instead of the usual pimp scene.
