How is the Democratic party dividing people along racial lines? It was republicans in the senate who did not support LBJ's civil rights bill. There are southern white people who just don't like or respect black people. Example: When the KKK bombed a church killed four black girls in Alabama. These girls had gone to elementary school with Condi Rice.

how do you not see this? how do you not see that by encouraging mass riots by BLM/Antifa over black criminal suspects who resist arrest and blaming it on "racist" white cops is not dividing by racial lines? by teaching CRT which is designed to whitewash the black race's massive involvement in the slave trade and blame it all on whites is not dividing the nation? by trying to teach white people they are racism by birth? to be ashamed of being white isn't dividing the nation? CRT will not accomplish anything it is touted to do which is which is end racism because it's sole purpose is to entrench racism in this country with whites now being made subservient to blacks. and that blacks can't be racist because all whites are racist?
what's that going to accomplish? i'll tell what it will accomplish .. it's going to force otherwise non-racist whites into being racist which is exactly its purpose.
Nikole Hannah-Jones is a black supremacist. she is the black version of David Duke.

1. The dixiecrat party was a wing of the Democrat party. Most of them have moved to the republican party. The people with the Hoods on in lusty lads post (these people vote republican now). Eccie republicans like TWK think these people are still in the democratic party. They are not they didn't vote for Clinton, Obama or Beiden.
2. There are white people in the south who just don't like black people or respect them and never will. There isn't anything the government can do about that. The government can try to enforce the civil right laws and their should be an equal opportunity for all.
3. After the Civil war was over. Black people had to put up with "40 acres and mule" & share cropping (what a great opportunity that was)
Overt JIM CROW Segregation.
Lynchings in the thousands. Just for not being white or being in the wrong at the wrong time. I don't need to say anymore on that.
3. When LBJ tried to get the Civil rights bill passed. Republican senators did not support it. LBJ had to cut deals with them to get them to vote for it.
4. Rounding up all black people and sending them to some place like Liberia as Mr Glock suggest is not the answer.

Yes - i misspelled a word - and missed in my scan for correction.
Your Statement - Quote - I will dumb this down just for you. is a deliberate insult and in violation of rules. The rest of your post is just fascist DPST anti-white racism - false labelling of people and mostly incorrect history.
remember - it is your AOC intent on rounding up all conservatives for re-education camps. Estimate 75 million.
And omar/Tlaib are busy constructing the chimneys in those camps.
And - when they come for You - there will be no one to speak for U.
Typical.

You forget or ignore the evil things that the KKK did to folks in the deep south after the Civil war was over. The KKK killed white and black freedom riders in the 1960's.

That's the topic of this entire thread... have you not been reading it?
It was republicans in the senate who did not support LBJ's civil rights bill.
Wrong! How many times do I need to correct this lie? And why do you keep repeating it over and over again after it has been debunked? One more time... A higher proportion of Republicans than Democrats voted for the CRA in both the House and the Senate. The bill could never have been passed without this disproportionate Republican support. Here is the voting record:
Civil Rights Act of 1964 roll call vote breakdown by numbers:
House of Representatives:
Democrats for: 152
Democrats against: 96
Republicans for: 138
Republicans against: 34
Senate:
Democrats for: 46
Democrats against: 21
Republicans for: 27
Republicans against: 6
% of Republican Reps voting for: 80%
% of Democrat Reps voting for: 61%
% of Republican Senators voting for: 82%
% of Democrat Senators voting for: 69%
There are southern white people who just don't like or respect black people.
How would you know? You live in Wisconsin! You need to keep promoting an old trope against "southern white people" to keep blacks from fleeing the dim-retard plantation in droves. Nearly 90% of Americans today approve of inter-racial marriage, up from only 4% in 1958. But you dim-retards are afraid to talk about that. You need to keep everyone mentally and emotionally trapped in a 1958 time warp, denying all racial progress since then.
Example: When the KKK bombed a church killed four black girls in Alabama. These girls had gone to elementary school with Condi Rice.
Thanks for proving my point. You're reaching all the way back to the early 60s. And you fail to mention Condi Rice is a Republican. She keeps telling everyone who will listen that the reason is because all the racists were (and still are) in the dim-retard party!
|
You really need to own up to the sordid history of YOUR own political party, instead of constantly trying to assuage your deep, nagging sense of guilt by falsely and slanderously projecting that history onto the party that freed the slaves and passed the Civil Rights Act to end YOUR party's ignominious Jim Crow past.

It's been completely debunked time & time again! Problem is that each time we debunk it, posters like adava8 slink off, lay low for a year, and then start posting the same lies all over again, pretending those lies were never exposed already in this Forum!
Oh well, that's what the search function is for. I got tired of repeating myself all the time. Now I just let Dinish d'Souza explain it all in detail:

LBJ had to cut deals with republican senators to get the deal done. The republican senators had planned to nominate a candidate for president who opposed the civil rights bill. You oversimplify things. To get around the filibuster LBJ had to cut a deal with republican Senator Dirksen. Republican Senators who were against it had planned to use the Filibuster to prevent the Civil Rights bill from being passed.
From the link:
Passing the civil rights bill in the House required getting it through the Rules Committee, which had been holding it up in an attempt to kill it. Johnson decided on a campaign to use a discharge petition to force it onto the House floor.[130] Facing a growing threat that they would be bypassed, the House rules committee approved the bill and moved it to the floor of the full House, which passed it shortly thereafter by a vote of 290–110.[131] In the Senate, since the tax bill had passed three days earlier, the anti-civil rights senators were left with the filibuster as their only remaining tool. Overcoming the filibuster required the support of over twenty Republicans, who were growing less supportive because their party was about to nominate for president a candidate who opposed the bill.[132] According to Caro, Johnson ultimately could convince Republican leader Everett Dirksen to support the bill that amassed the necessary Republican votes to overcome the filibuster in March 1964; after 75 hours of debate, the bill passed the Senate by a vote of 71–29.[133][134] Johnson signed the fortified Civil Rights Act of 1964 into law on July 2.[134] Legend has it that the evening after signing the bill, Johnson told an aide, "I think we just delivered the South to the Republican party for a long time to come", anticipating a coming backlash from Southern whites against Johnson's Democratic Party.[135]

so LBJ cut a deal. shocking! NOT. there's a word for that in politics .. bipartisanship.
Bipartisanship, sometimes referred to as nonpartisanship, is a political situation, usually in the context of a two-party system, in which opposing political parties find common ground through compromise.
LBJ had a long standing rep as a deal maker to get things done. especially as a Senator. it's said he never backed out on a promise he made. to any side of the isle.
as we all know LBJ was the prototypical "Tall Texan" at 6'4" and he'd employ that size advantage to good use. he'd get you in his famous "Half Johnson" where he'd put his big paw on someone's opposite shoulder as he stood next to them and steer them around while brow beating them into making a deal. if his target tried to break away he'd go for the "Full Johnson" and grab the person around the arm and hold them there.

Back on topic... wtf is "cisheteropatriarchy"? Wtf is "anthropocentrism"? Who coins this bullshit anyway?
The Teachers Unions Go Woke
The NEA and AFT get behind progressive political indoctrination.
By The Editorial Board
July 7, 2021 6:42 pm ET
Parents didn’t ask to be thrown into the trenches of America’s culture war, but progressives aren’t giving them a choice. Witness the way the national teachers unions are adopting woke values and pressing them into K-12 curriculums across the U.S.
The National Education Association, the largest teachers union, held its annual meeting last week and the measures approved by delegates deserve broader attention. One calls for the union to support and lead campaigns that “result in increasing the implementation of culturally responsive education, critical race theory, and ethnic (Native people, Asian, Black, Latin(o/a/x), Middle Eastern, North African, and Pacific Islander) Studies curriculum in pre- K-12 and higher education.”
Critical theory is a neo-Marxist ideology that is pervasive in higher education and teaches that a person is defined above all else by race, gender and sexual orientation, and that American institutions are designed to ensure white supremacy and “the patriarchy.”
The delegates also directed the NEA to lobby for “professional development around cultural responsiveness, implicit bias, anti-racism, trauma-informed practices, restorative justice practices and other racial justice trainings” for “all school employees.” The delegates called for similar training for students. Just what second-graders need: instruction on how to distrust kids with different skin colors.
Another delegate-approved measure calls for the union to issue a study criticizing “empire, white supremacy, anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, racism, patriarchy, cisheteropatriarchy, capitalism, ableism, anthropocentrism, and other forms of power and oppression at the intersections of our society.”
Another approved statement asks the union to “join with Black Lives Matter at School and the Zinn Education Project” to hold a rally on George Floyd’s birthday, honor other victims of police violence, and promote “a national day of action to teach lessons about structural racism and oppression.” That’s Zinn as in Howard Zinn, the late radical whose history of the United States boils down to one long tale of the people versus the oppressors in power.
And don’t forget the call for the union to share resources for “decolonizing the curriculum” with educators to use in the classroom. The list goes on.
This is no mere academic exercise. NEA convention delegates may be more committed to this ideological mission than most members, but the union represents three million educators nationwide. The delegates will return to their school districts as administrators, principals and teachers to spread this message of American oppression and “anti-Indigeneity.” Union dues will promote these causes.
Believe it or not, union leaders claim that parents who oppose any of this are motivated by hate and are assaulting free speech. In a speech Tuesday, American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten claimed that “culture warriors are labeling any discussion of race, racism or discrimination as CRT to try to make it toxic” and “bullying teachers and trying to stop us from teaching students accurate history.” She likened the backlash to historical revisionism in the Soviet Union and other repressive regimes.
But no one is opposed to teaching about America’s difficult racial history, including the evils of slavery and Jim Crow. What parents are awakening to is that their children are being told the lie that America has made little or no racial progress and therefore its legal, economic and political systems must be turned upside down.
Ms. Weingarten must have in the mind those Soviets in Loudoun County, Va., where five families sued last month over school district policies and practices that are rooted in critical race theory. The families claim that administrators chilled speech and discriminated against non-minority students. Watch for similar suits elsewhere. The unions are upset because such parental pushback threatens their control over instruction in schools.
All of this shows how far the teachers unions have strayed from their original mission of fighting for better pay and pensions. The NEA and AFT have become the ideological and institutional vanguard of progressive politics. They are a powerful wing of the Democratic Party, and in President Biden and his wife Jill they have the most powerful allies.
Voters need to understand the ideological motivations at work in these unions and how that will affect what their children and grandchildren are taught. Parents have every right, even a duty, to fight back against this invasion of progressive politics in their schools.

Thanks for reinforcing my point... once again!
All those GOP Senators voted for the CRA in an election year a few days before nominating Barry Goldwater (a CRA opponent) as their party's standard bearer!
That obviously took a fucking TON of political courage and moral clarity, qualities that were in short supply on the other side of the aisle!

No, LBJ had to cut a deal with Senator Dirksen so that the Filibuster would not be used by Republican Senators to block the civil rights bill. Nice try though.

What year do you think we are living in? Why not try and stay in the year 2021 because that's the year we are living in not 1866 or 1960.
The only real questions up for debate, are "Does systemic Racism exist in our laws", a claim made by Democrats. I have asked anybody on this board to offer prove of this and I'm still waiting. If this can't be proven, the whole of CRT trying to prove that there is systemic racism, fails.
The other question that must be asked and answered is "What does CRT curriculum look like in elementary an high school"? The teachers union and the Democrat Party says that it is nothing more than teaching the history of slavery and systemic racism right up to 1964 ( when it did exist ) when the Civil Rights act was enacted into law.
The evidence is quite clear. It is all set up to label children by the color of their skin. That is the starting point. If you are Black, step over here and join this group of the oppressed. If you are White, step over here, preferably with your head down in shame for the little racists bastards you are and admit your White privilege before we can go any farther in discussing what must be done with your "group". And this ISN'T dividing the country by racial lines? Nobody can be that dumb. If you are in favor of teaching CRT to children than you have adopted the STATED Marxist policy of BLM not to teach history but to lay blame for all the ills that exists for Blacks, poverty, crime, poor academic standards, at the feet of White people, taking no responsibility for leaving the majority ( or close to it ) of Black children to be raised in a single parent household or no parent at all. Every study ever done says that this will inevitably lead to inequities and nobody but Black people can change this dynamic.
Teaching Black students that they can not achieve unless a White person allows them to, is doing tremendous damage to this country and has to stop. Thankfully even Black parents are objecting to having their children labeled as victim, the oppressed. They resent it and they damn well should.
What kind of a moron would think that once the parents of America understand what the Democrats, some Democrats and the Marxist teachers union want taught, they won't fight back against this? We are seeing it in literally every state, even the Blue ones, parents telling school boards and teachers, no, you will not be deciding what our children learn, you will not be teaching morals to our children, parents will do that. Second dumbest thing since defund police. SMH The stupidity is mind boggling.
