Yeah, unless you're really old and obese, which I seriously doubt, that's true. A person's probability of dying from an auto accident over a lifetime is about 1%. And only 0.2% of Americans have died from COVID. Hopefully a lot more won't pass away in years to come. The thing though is that 0.2% came in about a year, instead of over 80 years. Hospitals at times were overloaded, at least where I live, and the effect on the economy was severe. We'll be paying for this for years, with all the debt we're piling up.

Getting vaccinated is still a good idea IMHO, with the highly infectious Delta variant spreading. And especially for people who travel outside the USA. As I've said before, I can go into any hooker bar in Latin America, where the COVID is running rampant, without fear of getting the deadly COVID. Because thanks to Operation Warp Speed I got the Pfizer vaccine.

What was the last thing President Trump and Melania did before they left the White House? They got the Pfizer vaccine. Smart people.

And his death would be included in the 5888 that the Dutchman referenced.
and the problem of knowing the truth

in ROCH Upset NY murder is up up up like many city's

but in ROC and murdered, test the dead for C13, if yes died of C19

the bullets to the brain did nothing , then report to FBI bullet did it

In past in local news yes that is being done WTF
wish could find, someone cleaning the web good so its read when see, this soon history to the bit bin

Tiny, has anyone told you that you make a pretty lousy liberal by todays standards, you are entirely too fucking reasonable lol It makes me want to find common ground where we agree, but what fun would that be? lol

Ok I guess in all fairness I make a pretty shitty righty, I am very anti church, I've been all for gay marriage since way before most Dems and I can't stand all the recent attacks on "Freedom of Choice" that we've had in Texas and elsewhere lately, so maybe we are the last of a dying breed. lol

Back to the vaccine. Please don't get me wrong, I am as ecstatic as anyone else that we now have a way to "protect grandma" and everyone else who is at high risk and I certainly am happy that most of the country and Texas in particular has gotten life pretty much back to normal. It's just that after carefully weighing the available evidence for my own situation I don't see any benefit in personally getting the vaccine. I will concede that if I ever "have to" get the shot/s in order to travel internationally or something else that is important to me, I am equally not going to let the VERY minor risk that comes with the vaccine keep me up at night either.

Gambler, I'm a liberal all right. A classical economic liberal like Adam Smith, Milton Friedman, and my third favorite politician of all time, Gary Johnson. Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher are #1 and #2. My dream date is a threesome with Maggie and AOC, with AOC blindfolded and gagged, willfully of course. Thatcher would be there for intellectual discourse and blow jobs, AOC for breeding.

And I'm right there with you on social issues.

Supposedly only a few percent of the population is where we are, "conservative" on economic issues and liberal on social issues. Too bad, the world would be a better place if there were more.

That doesn't account for the extra 500,000 deaths.

You're saying that you don't know where the extra 500,000 deaths came from.

Well, wouldn't it be reasonable to assume they came from the 600,000 people who died from COVID?

Strokey, The 500,000 extra deaths were just for 2020, being total deaths from all causes in 2020 less total deaths from all causes in 2019.

As of December 31, 2020, the WHO's count of total COVID deaths in the USA was 335,000, and the CDC's count was about 346,000.

Since 1/1/2021, more people have died because of COVID, bringing the count up to 600,000.

The table here may provide a clue as to what's happening,

https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...rticle/2778234

I think a good part of the difference, between the 500,000 excess deaths and the 346,000 so-called "COVID-19" fatalities in 2020 shows up in deaths from "heart disease", "Alzheimer disease", and "diabetes." Note that deaths from these three causes jumped up from 2019 to 2020. There were probably people who died from heart disease, Alzheimer disease and diabetes that wouldn't have died in 2020 if they hadn't also had COVID-19. They didn't get lumped into the COVID-19 category, either because the physicians didn't think COVID-19 was the primary reason for death, or because they were never tested for COVID.

Also, judging from the annual increase in total deaths in past years, maybe 15,000 to 70,000 more people died in 2020 because of the increase in population and changing demographics (for example, a higher % of older people in the American population).

WOW you really are GULLIBLE aren't you?

FACT: Moderna was incorporated in 2010 and Fauci was in his 26th year as NAID Director.
FACT: Gates attended Harvard not Cornell.
FACT: George Soros could not have sold off IG Farben at age 15

Perhaps you should stand up, take that seat cushion you are using and insert it between your ears so your brain will be in its proper anatomical location

I suspect that vehicular death toll stats are more reliable than "Covid" death stats. But I wouldn't expect you to agree.

I knew that and appreciate your posting the images. Bambino posts links to some interesting stuff. But someone, I think maybe Offshore Drilling, said he got a virus so I'm reluctant to click on the links.
