Fights on Flights

There's been a number of fights on domestic flights recently. Here's one where an attendant got some teeth knocked out. I flew to Vegas recently. Because you have to have your mask on when you enter the airport, until the time you leave I estimate I had it on 6 hours. I don't see how people can stand to have it on most of the day.

I recently flew, too. It was 7 hours of hell.

Of course, everybody was well behaved, except the flight attendants, who aggressively informed us what we were and were not allowed to do.

Can’t imagine an alcohol free flight to Vegas though.

I also noticed your “pattern.” And I don’t think anybody here is surprised you would make that the focus of your post. Can always count on you. Thanks for affirming.

So you have a problem with folks enforcing the rules? Not surprising! Plus your one of those lockdown and mask lovers. Thought youd be all for this! You know. To keep the rona from spreading.

They let a lot of "minor" criminals out of jail because of the rona. Then they put thousands of dollars in their hands. Then they told them "they special" and refused to arrest them for assault, looting, rioting, etc.

What were they supposed think? Their behavior is encouraged.
I'm just glad they are scanning the passengers and baggage for weapons.

Yeah, I had a stash of old medical N95 masks coming into the pandemic. They were tight fitting as hell and left red marks on my face. Still, I wore them several times for 9 or 10 hours a day when traveling, along with my goggles, which were also annoying as hell, especially when I tried to read.

The thing now though is that you can get much more comfortable options. I've been wearing a KN95 mask lately, hours at a time when traveling, and it's not annoying at all. This is it, and it has FDA or CDC emergency approval,

Not that anyone now will necessarily find that link useful. If you take COVID seriously you've been vaccinated by now, in which case you're pretty safe without a mask. And if you don't you're not interested in options for masks anyway.

I won 187 one dollar bills on the plane first time I ever flew to vegas, I got a dollar from most everyone on the plane

sw airlines, the stewardess (stewardess back then, flight attendant now) came on the mic

"we just passed into Nevada airspace, and I have with me this * year old ****. for those of you who want to play, write your seat number on a dollar bill in this barf bag we will pass around, then she will draw one dollar out and that person wins the money"

so I'm watching as the bag gets passed back, everyone is just tossing a limp dollar bill folded, as you might think, in the bag. I'm three quarters of the way back on the first side it goes down.

I get out my crispest dollar bill, crease it length wise. when the bag comes to me I insert my bill standing up with the crease long ways with other dollars around it supporting it.

then it goes to the other side and everyone is just tossing their dollar in

it gets back to the stewardess and the person sticks her hand in, hits my dollar first and she pulls it out and viola I win
