Fuck college (for most people), it’s a complete waste of resources in the majority of disciplines. There’s plenty of money to be made in the trades if your hard working and honest. The dude who snakes turds out of my sewers charges $225 for about a 1/2 hour’s work. He’s smelly AF and had to build an outside shower, but doing 3-5 stops a day at that rate, with only a van, insurance and a couple pieces of equipment to maintain, is a damn good living. There’s a million other examples.

unless you have a highly precise job, like the sciences, medicine, engineering, college is a joke. The most important thing to do in that time if you're not majoring in the above is network like crazy.

Kids these days bitch about "entry level jobs wanting 5 years of experience" don't realize what's going on - the position is either being created for someone they already intend on hiring, or they're making an excuse to export the job or H1B Visa someone in for half the cost because "they can't find anyone qualified".

It's all nepotism. It's all who you know.

Your GPA doesn't matter, your extra curriculars don't matter. What matters is that you're a known entity that can get the job done for a nominal rate. And the more well thought of you are to other people, the more you're in demand, and the higher that nominal rate is.

The uneducated population is far more likely to vote for and support some clown like Trump. Or the next Trump wannabe

I believe that every American should be guaranteed the education and best health care available. Our mission should be to find ways to expand education and healthcare, not deny it.

Absolutely

Remember the words of Dean Vernon Wormer:

Is that a pledge pin on your uniform? For the make amerika great again fraternity???

You are correct. But would you like a job that what your are doing today you will be doing tomorrow and you will be doing 10 years from now in the exact same way? During my career I had jobs in my company that differed almost day-to-day and presented new challenges and room for growth.
