I had the exact opposite impression. I can't imagine any attorney could have done a better job with what he had to work with. He was meticulous, whether the put the jury to sleep or not, by saying, showing each and every thing Chauvin did with what the rules called for and allowed by any reasonable officer who had the same training as Chauvin. Chauvin did "this" and up goes the rules saying neck restraint is within the manual guidelines and further stated that the reason Chauvin kept him down so long was because the manual taught that a resisting person can give you the impression he is subdued, only to get a second wind ( pun intended ) and start fighting again.



Since so much of this depends on what a "reasonable police officer would do", the Attorney must have referred to Chauvin as that reasonable police officer 100 times trying to cement that idea in the head of the jury. A brilliant move whether effective in this case or not.
I personally wouldn't but I think he will be found guilty on all 3 charges if for no other reason the jury doesn't want their verdict to be responsible for burning down what little is left of Minn.


On a side note, Maxine Waters went to Minn. and told the crowd they needed more confrontation and insinuated that if a guilty verdict wasn't forth coming, the city would burn.


The attorney brought this to the Judges attention and the Judge said, "she may just have handed you a case for appeal". And Republicans will put forth on the floor of the House a call for Censure of Waters.

manslaughter best chance for prosecution. did anyone uncover why no cause of death was concluded in the autopsy? Because of this top two counts if for some strange reason found guilty, an appeal should be successful. Not an attorney here, just going off of MINN statutes and the evidence presented. Minneapolis already burning could be a foreshadow from those people.
