Roger Stone missing taxes
Back in the news for evading taxes. What a low life. He thought he could evade taxes by setting up a commercial account, then use that to pay for personal items....on and on and on. He already got pardoned once, after being convicted.
But for once, let's not choose up sides and start the "about" isms. All the politicians are crooks.

Quoting Karl Marx. Interesting...
So...will anything political, or religious, ever effect any useful change in the world, ever again?

I don't like Marxism, but that doesn't mean I think Marx is wrong about 100% of everything.
If Marx liked Dr. Pepper, and I turned around and started boycotting Dr. Pepper because of it, one would think I had some sort of "derangement syndrome".
To your second point - Useful is in the eye of the beholder, or rather in the hand of the user.

God helps those who help themselves...The liberal says let government do everything for you. I guess Jesus is not so liberal and he also said that we as individuals should be charitable, not government.

Why is this important? He has no influence on your life does he? Concentrate on Biden he's an idiot and he's running your country with a pen. Talk about a lowlife.

That first line is not biblical. It's Southern Baptist rambling.

This thread got off track quick.
The govt can break anyone financially. Then swoop down for "tax evasion."
Beware.

Anyone except President Trump. Armies of government and private lawyers, along with throngs of other researchers and journalists, have been trying for half a decade and have come up with bupkis.

Preliminary findings indicate he did try to evade taxes.....by a lot. Not only that, he had a previous deal to start paying monthly some of the taxes owned then.....and stopped paying.

I don't see where he's being prosecuted criminally for tax evasion. He ran up $1 million in tax debt from 2007 to 2011 and he wasn't able to pay it back.
When he was prosecuted on charges related to the Mueller investigation, he must have run up huge legal bills. So how is he supposed to support himself now? How's he supposed to pay off his tax debt? Who's going to hire a political consultant who was indicted? The IRS is trying to force him to pay up, but that's probably going to be like trying to squeeze blood out of turnip.
There is an issue about Stone and his wife transferring their residence to a trust so the IRS couldn't take it, but I suspect that's something that's in a gray area, not tax fraud. If the IRS busts the trust then they could sell the condominium apartment and put Stone and his wife out on the street.
