Considering the Philippines president believes an attempt to view the fishing vessels would result in all their personnel coming back dead.....probably not.

What does China want ?

During the Cold War with Russia, the term " Russian Trawler" was generally taken to mean a boat/ship that looked a bit like a fishing vessel but was assumed to be spying in some way.,

This is the same thing. However, instead of just one lone boat, the Chinese have this fleet. A third-world coast guard trying to round up one or a few will face interference from a hundred.

china has a predatory fishing fleet, some are disguised as spy boats and some are also disguised as militia navy.

China was never an aggressive power during the 19th and 20th centuries. Too busy reproducing. Not a factor at all in WW2, except they got attacked and overrun by the Japanese.

What does China want now ?
