I do not know how it is elsewhere on this site, but the mods in the Dallas forums do not ban for posts (unless it is a post that is outing someone, but that really depends on the outer and/or the outee). However, they do temp ban just to fuck with you to play a power trip.

As far as points go, there is a reason why they make them private between the staff and the member pointed. The immediate response to that if you ask mod for that reason and they will say it is none of anyone else's business. But, in reality, depending on the violator of the GL infraction or rule based on a sticky at the top of a forum, so is the points given. That also goes for made up infractions/bans as well.

Unlike OH2 where there is one admin and a handful of site guides that probably can do no moderation tasks without approval each and every time, Eccie has several admins and mods so there has to be at least one that is fair and unbiased.

It is important to realize that the 1st amendment (as is the rest of the bill of rights) intended to limit the GOVERNMENTS action against the citizens. It is not incumbent any ANY privately owned business to comply with ANY of it, although most try to do so. Private business are entirely free to enforce no profanity, no weapons or no anything on their property without fear of successful legal action.

Here's a tip - don't be an asshole when you post shit. On this board or any other board. It's so simple yet for some people they just can't seem to grasp this concept. Probably why they are assholes.

If a privately owned website such as this is would go private instead of public letting anyone with access to an internet connection create an account, including LE, then a website such as this would not have to delete ad, ISO and WW forums, nor would they have to delete the donation field or not allow pics in a review.

On that same note, given that a website such as this is suppose to be an opinionated board, but all opinions are not welcomed, so instead of fucking with others, it would help to let people know what opinion they have to profess to have publically in order to be an accepted member to allow them to hobby with no drama.

One how will disabled and account allow me to post more dumb stuff.

Two there EOE laws so just because some private business doesn't give them the right to do anything want.
