Lets see, why would the military be neutral? Wow, that's a tough one alright. Maybe because that is what the Constitution calls for. Didn't we just go through this with Trump wanting to put regular military troops on the streets and his own people told him no and Democrats told him no because the US military is not suppose to fight Americans on American soil? It would take the President Joe Biden presumably, calling for the Insurrection Act after the entire Democratic party saying just months before, NO you can't do that in America, but the hypocrisy wouldn't surprise me in the least.
The trumpys lost. They are the ones who would start the fight in order to what?
Your lack of comprehension never ceases to amaze me. There will be no civil war because of Trump losing the election. The civil war being discussed as I understand it, would be because of what Biden and the Squad might try to impose on America and that imposition will come from the left, not the right. We just saw evidence of that with the Trump march that was set upon by Antifa and BLM thugs knocking little old ladies to the ground. Maybe you didn't see those video's since you don't watch Fox News. The Civil War might come if the Biden administration tries to over step it's authority on lock downs and some of the stupid crap these Democrat Governor's and Mayor's are trying to do.
There will be no civil war over the election. If there is one, it will be because of the Democratic party and what they might try and push on American's who will not stand by and watch their freedoms stripped from them like freedom of speech. We are starting to see books banned that LGBTQ individuals and their sycophants don't want on the shelves of book stores. We are seeing people fired from their jobs for offering a different opinion than what the left wants to hear. All of these things could add up to one very big backlash and it won't be in support of Trump, it will be in support of American ideals that seem to be slipping away. It is quite stunning how many on the left want to eliminate the Proud Boys but have no problem with Antifa and BLM thugs.
The people you claim for your side aren't going to fight because you think they should.
You are right. They will fight because they think they should. They will fight for freedom of speech and against suppression of ideas contrary to Liberal orthodoxy.
The military would take care of your asses real quick.
The military that Democrats have no use for and detest? That military?
The assholes on this site are pushing a fight they can't win.
And you never say why this battle would occur.
I just did.
Just because you lost an election.
Nope, but it doesn't surprise me that you don't know what's being talked about.
Not talk of fighting as trump fucked things up.
Just talk of voting him out.
Grow up and act like an American.
Stop acting like a douche-bag.
|
Yeah, act like an American and stand for free speech and let the courts decide whether there are any grounds for contesting an election. That's the American way. Take your fight to the courts and let them decide.

Whatever has happened to the big three?
That is: truth, justice and the American way
Truth has been subjectified (made subjective, I figured if objectified can be a word why not subjectfied), people now have “their truth” which is nothing but feelings and sometimes merely their selfish desires
Justice subverted from applying equally to all individuals to due a group at the expense of individuals not in preferred groups
And the American way? well the American way is systemically racist

Doubt it will be fractured. There is a white paper on continuity already:
NATIONAL SECURITY PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVE/NSPD 51
HOMELAND SECURITY PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVE/HSPD-20
Subject: National Continuity Policy
Purpose
(1) This directive establishes a comprehensive national policy on the continuity of Federal Government structures and operations and a single National Continuity Coordinator responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of Federal continuity policies. This policy establishes "National Essential Functions," prescribes continuity requirements for all executive departments and agencies, and provides guidance for State, local, territorial, and tribal governments, and private sector organizations in order to ensure a comprehensive and integrated national continuity program that will enhance the credibility of our national security posture and enable a more rapid and effective response to and recovery from a national emergency.
Will it be messy? Ya sure, you betcha.
Dates back to 2007, in case you were wondering

That part of your statement was correct. Regardless of what one thinks of it or which side of the strip you are on. This is the last best opportunity to make prudent plans.
There are several key dates and processes remaining that will indicate things for us. One needs to be aware of how the process actually works. Think of it like the light tree at the starting line of a drag strip. The top light is already lit and the cars are staged. The next lights come pretty fast.
Gentlemen! Start your engines.
If you have a good start on decent plans and a little free time; read the 12th Amendment to the US Constitution. The green light comes no later than March 4th.

I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic or you believe that but I don't. Oh sure, I believe there are racist and some are actually Black and Brown. Some people are quick to say that Black people can't be racist because you have to have power ( presumably meaning you must be White ) to be a racist, therefore a Black person can't be a racist. Tell that to the Black man, that became the most powerful man in the world, President of the US, twice.
I believe there are some bad cops and I believe that some people get a bad deal in the justice system. Could the "system" be better? What system couldn't but I reject "systemic" racism because to me that would imply that we wouldn't have any people of color in positions of power in government and civilian life, we do.
How does a country with "systemic racism" elect a Black ( OK half Black ) President twice? The term implies that our system wouldn't allow a Black person to become President and yet it did. We have Black doctors and lawyers, CEO's, hell, millionaires and billionaires. A system that is systemic, wouldn't allow that.
systemic
fundamental to a predominant social, economic, or political practice
Unfortunately, what I see happening now is a movement that says the only way to "reform" America, is to burn it down and start all over again. And how exactly would that happen with White people still being what, 73% of the population of a country that Democratically elects it's Representatives?
Children and young adults are now being taught that not only was the US born in racism ( true and undeniable ) but that we still are and that as long as we are, we are a bad country. Well, we are not a bad country. To the contrary, we arguably the best country in the world. I believe that.
The only thing a country can do, is change laws. It can not change hearts. As long as we make an effort like we did in amending our Constitution that rid us of slavery. In 64 passing a Civil Rights Act. Laws against discrimination in housing and jobs. We are arguably changing for the better, faster than any country on the planet.
We can do better but we can't do better from a starting point that we are evil and must be burnt to the ground and unfortunately, to many in our political class seem to have bought into this very destruction narrative.

I hope another civil war is coming. I was just informed that I have a lot of sick days that are about to expire. I want to be able to lie and say I've been shot... yeah yeah yeah, I know it's a bad and a really lame joke. I'm just waiting for the NBA draft to start tonight. Smile folks because everything is going to be just fine.

There may not be an actual civil war but I can assure you, things are not going to be just fine if Democrats keep up this cancel culture and telling anybody that will listen that if you hire or befriend anybody that worked in the Trump administration or if you voted for Trump, you will be outed, criticized and punished.
There seemed to be two things made pretty clear in the election. The majority wanted Trump gone but they damn sure wanted to lessen the power of Democrats in the House and will likely keep Democrats from taking the Senate.
The majority couldn't have been more clear that the age of Progressive politics in America, isn't here yet and those that oppose it, won't go quietly.
