Default Facebook Friends Recommendations

I'm not a regular FB user. Only post occasionally, look through a number of posts from others though. If you're a regular user, then you know what the "Friends Recommendations" are. Usually, FB will match you up with another FB participant that you may have the same friends as you. Not a big deal, BUT! This morning, I noticed a familiar face as a recommendation. It was a provider that posts on tryst.link, that I've met a couple of time. I clicked on the link, and there she was! Along with her real name, family, friends, everything she posts! I have no intention of outing here.

I mention this so that everyone will be aware of how intrusive FB has become. Now, I do not have pictures of her on my computer, nor her phone number or email, etc. Just visited her post on tryst.link a couple of time and then contacted her on my hobby phone. I get that when I search for a product on FB that within a few minutes, I am getting ads for those products. But, I was shocked that not only was FB able to connect my visit to tryst.link, but to the actual provider.

I guess my suggestion would be that you ladies out there make sure your personal FB pages are private, although this still may not work. You may still get someone directed to your personal page which usual shows your name and profile picture.

I'll also mention that I've also gotten Recommendation of girls I've communicated with on Seeking Arrangements.

Just be careful out the people!

Yet another good reason to stay off social media.

Social media definitely has its issues. I am friends with several providers on FB. I'm not married so not worried about it too much, but more worried about the drama of it.

One of the providers I was on FB with obviously was looking at my page. She was attempting to get me to come over one night and I used my kid as the excuse on why I couldn't.

She them brought up the name of one of my former girlfriends askingif she would be willing to baby sit my kid.

I unfriended her immediately.

Another provider I had seen three times, maybe once a year, suddenly started sending texts messages when I posted pictures of someone I started to date. She asked me why I didn't come and date her instead?

Social media and the hobby doesn't mix. Use a hobby phone. Keep your hobby life separate from your private life.

This is why my FB as no info it's as generic as I can get a way with. Created a hobby account & have RW Acount. Both created w/different phones and didn't use real name on hobby account. I suggest you lock your friends list. set it so the only people who can see your friends are your friends. I set my account where I am the only one who could see as much as possible I post very little and only friends can see the post that I do put out

I was looking at an ad for a provider and got distracted for a moment and I musta accidental clicked on her phone number and didn’t realize it. Not realizing what happened but realizing now that someone was one my phone it took me a short time to figure out that I was taking with the provider.

A few days later she was a Facebook friend suggestion and so of course I creeped her page. But yeah there was a lot of personal info that was available for both of us.
