Huh? Are you serious? I hate to tell you this, but that's just not how it works.

Imagine how even more fucked up this country would be right now if we did not have cops and people would not be arrested by them. I have no desire to live in a lawless society. I know cops can't arrest every criminal, but they do arrest enough to my satisfaction.

My only complaint is that they kind of just let the inner city police themselves which usually turns into a blood bath in certain cities. Many of the good people who live there deserve better protection.

We don't need any cops where I live, so send them where they need to be in the inner cities. I won't lie though, I don't drive the speed limit so I want them away from where I live.

It's politics. Whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, everyone eats their own and others if they want to win. It's a ruthless and uncivilized journey that I would never have anything to do with for any job.

I'm not going to bad mouth anyone to get a job over them, but in that line of work at any level of being a politician, you pretty much have no choice but to do so. They'll be coming for you so you have to attack them if you want to win.

It's simple. If people don't play nice with you, you don't play nice with them. And politicians certainly do not play nice with each other.

My neighborhood is one of the rougher ones in the city. I seldom see police and you can drive down the street 2 blocks and continually see drug dealing in broad daylight. There have been 2 shootings in 3 weeks in the same area. But when the neighborhood officer shows up to the monthly neighborhood meetings-- we keep getting told "they're working on it". We don't see police patrols around here unless they're responding to a shooting.


I can drive across town to work.. and will constantly see police on patrol. Continuously. In a neighborhood with almost no crime rate comparatively. You'd think if they actually wanted to combat the crime, they'd employ the same level of patrol in the high crime areas.
