Yes cameras in rooms. Nagoya downtown used camera footage of cops to beat charges. Westside was rumored to have cameras too. This was years ago. I recently had an experience of an audio recording as the girl suddenly went real quiet while we discussed some recent closings. 20+ years still not on pornhub! Guess I will keep trying.

I've noticed almost every ceiling has either an air return in the room (good for circulation) or there's a broken corner on the ceiling tiles. Every room is like this. I've assumed they're watching.
