overall i agree with the chief's stance. anyone out past the curfew regardless of which side they are on becomes a fair game target.

of course if the police and guard would start arresting anyone defying the curfew ...

Kenosha police chief blames protesters for their own deaths because they were ‘out after curfew’

Kenosha Police Chief Daniel Miskinis claimed there may not have been an incident if the protesters were not out in the streets

The Kenosha, Wisconsin police chief blamed two protesters who were fatally shot for their own deaths because they violated curfew.

Read More: Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, arrested for murder in Wisconsin protest shooting

Chief Daniel Miskinis held a press conference on Wednesday to offer an update on the protests that have overwhelmed the city of 100,000 after Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old father of three, was shot in the back on Sunday by police.

Miskinis said that the two victims who were shot during a protest on Tuesday bore some responsibility.

“Persons who were out after the curfew became engaged in some type of disturbance, and persons were shot. Everybody involved was out after the curfew. I’m not going to make a great deal of that, but the point is the curfew is in place to protect,” Miskinis said.

“Had persons not been out involved in violation of that, perhaps the situation that unfolded would not have happened.”

Miskinis added that the deceased individuals were among the people who brought violence to Kenosha. He continued to refer to them as “persons” only confirming they were 25 and 36-year-old Wisconsin residents.

“It is the persons who were involved after the legal time, involved in illegal activity, that brought violence to this community,” he said.

As theGrio previously reported, Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of the two men who have not yet been publicly identified.

Rittenhouse, 17, used a semi-automatic rifle in the attack and fled the state but was arrested in Illinois. Despite being labeled as a “fugitive from justice,” he was apprehended without incident and Miskinis would not call the crime a homicide.

Miskinis believed Rittenhouse allegedly “was involved in the use of firearms to resolve whatever conflict was in place” which resulted in “disturbance that led to the use of deadly force.”

Miskinis was of the view that armed civilians had every right to exercise their constitutional rights.

“Across this nation there have been armed civilians who have come out to exercise their constitutional right and to potentially protect property,” he said. “Am I aware that groups exist? Yes, but they weren’t invited to come.”

But Slate reports that Rittenhouse was among an armed group that police didn’t seem to mind being on the scene, telling them they “appreciated” them and even providing them with water.

Witnesses and video recorded near the shootings may show that Rittenhouse was allowed to walk away after killing two people on account of the “high stress” of the situation and “tunnel vision” of Kenosha officers.

“It’s no different than those on the protesters’ side who are walking around armed and those who are counterprotesters, or those who are just witnessing, to be armed, so I’m not going to address any more issues relative to that,” Miskinis said.

Miskinis also claimed there may be some justification for Blake’s shooting. Bystander video caught the incident and it has since gone viral.

“I’m not going to address that because it is one snippet of a very large situation and much as what’s happened across this nation for a long period of time, it’s focused on what you see in this much of an incident,” Miskinis said, referencing other Black men being shot by police.

“It’s unfair to everybody involved, whether you’re the person using force or the person being arrested that the picture isn’t painted.”

Sounds like an argument for applying culpability in a criminal action huh Kinkster?

I heard tonight that lawyers are lining up to defend that 17 year old on the grounds of clear and convincing case of self defense. While they might be able to get him for gun violations or anything else a willful Progressive prosecutor may come up with, murder will never be proven IMHO, at least not if anybody that believes what I believe is on that jury.

These Are The Victims Of The Kenosha Protest Shooting

Friends and family remembered two men shot dead while attending protests Tuesday night for Jacob Blake, a Black man shot in the back Sunday by a Kenosha, Wisconsin, police officer.

Police arrested and charged 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse with murder in the shooting of several people at the protest. Two men were killed, and a third was seriously injured.

Here’s what we know about the victims.

Anthony Huber

Anthony Huber (Photo:GoFundMe)" data-fileName="5f48023b2300007901f8 5326.png" data-credit="GoFundMe" data-creditUrl="https://www.gofundme.com/f/249ip7bjxc" data-caption="Anthony Huber (Photo: GoFundMe)" data-width="544" data-height="636" data-ops="crop_4_169_506_467" />

Huber, 26, was from the Silver Lake community in Kenosha County, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. An avid skateboarder, Huber was “really sweet” and “really friendly,” friends told the newspaper.

“He was one of the most amazing people,” Huber’s girlfriend, Hannah Gittings, said at a gathering Wednesday night near the location where he was killed. “He took down an armed gunman with nothing but his fucking skateboard, and he took that fucking bullet.”

the same skateboard he tried to bash in the VICTIM's head in with ..

A GoFundMe page has gone up to support Gittings and her daughter.

Gittings posted on Facebook asking people to “skate as hard as you can” in Huber’s memory. Mourners gathered at a local skatepark Huber frequented, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Joseph Rosenbaum

Rosenbaum, a 36-year-old father, lived in Kenosha, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. Rosenbaum originally came from Texas and is survived by his fiancee and 2-year-old daughter.

Rosenbaum, known by friends and family as “Jojo,” was a jokester and “loved his daughter very much,” his sister told the Chicago Sun-Times.

Gaige Grosskreutz

Grosskreutz, 26, was shot in the arm Tuesday and is recovering in the hospital, the Journal Sentinel reported. A resident of West Allis, Wisconsin, Grosskreutz was at the protest with the social justice group the People’s Revolution Movement.

not BLM. .. the People’s Revolution Movement

Friends told Milwaukee TV station WTMJ that Grosskreutz was a volunteer medic at Tuesday’s protest and had also been at other Black Lives Matter protests over the summer. Other friends launched a GoFundMe page to raise money for his medical costs.

Rittenhouse had expressed his love of guns and police on his Facebook profile, which has been taken down. It was full of “Blue Lives Matter” and other pro-police slogans. He was also reportedly a onetime police cadet.

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul on Wednesday identified the police officer who shot Blake as Rusten Sheskey. Sheskey shot Blake in the back while Blake was getting into his car.

Blake is still in the hospital and is paralyzed below the waist, his family said.

Rosenbaum is no angel but he did not throw "firebombs" at that SOB teenager. And you still couldn't refute the fact that these so-called "community vigilantes" in Kenosha were colluding with the police to initiate the fatal confrontations with the protesters.

Rosenbaum appears to be unarmed for the duration of this video.” (Heavy.com)

DPST media has no Lie that little am won't happily swallow and repeat.

None so blind as will not see.

Civil War is coming - little am talks big - but after all- DPST's are not allowed to possess firearms in their narrative. Particularly those awful ,nasty AR-15 'assault guns" - of which DPST is rightfully terrified to have in the hands of citizens who will fight to protect themselves form the DPST institution of marxist control, and destruction of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

From my view of the videos - Kyle was justified in shooting in self defense.

When his trial comes up - it will be interesting to see how much coverage is given when FACTS and Truth are presented - XiNN does not like anything opposing their Lies and fake narrative - and Bloomie and his Trump Hate and fake presentations as well - they are all LSM Liars.

An intelligent person knows that an empty plastic shopping bag does not have the aerodynamics to fly fifteen plus feet no matter how hard it is thrown. There was something with weight in that bag. Ergo, Rosenbaum DID in fact launch an object towards the back of Rittenhouse's head for the purpose of injuring Rittenhouse. Rosenbaum DID have a weapon.

That's what it's going to come down to, IMO, the jury selection. I don't believe these folks are going to appreciate their town being set on fire.

The LSM is trying its' best to sanitize and wipe clean these criminals, their records, and their actions to fit the marxist DPST narative.

There is not enough TP in all Wisconsin or XiNN HQ to sanitize these assholes.

the plastic bag was found burning. for whatever reason, it failed to go off. Kyle was lucky that he didn't get burned by that molotov cocktail.

why was it put in a plastic bag instead of a glass bottle which will break upon contact?

oh btw, it looks like it was Grosskreutz was the first one to fire a shot at Kyle, then rosenbaum threw his failed molotov cocktail at Kyle.

After watching the videos posted I can't come to any conclusion other than this is a self-defense shooting, especially the parts where the skateboard is swung at the guys head and the guy with the pistol getting shot in the arm.

And this Rosenbaum guy is really thinking about his two year old daughter by getting involved in all this?

Of course the skateboard guys girlfriend sticks up for his actions, family is never at fault anytime....
