Won't vote this year, last time out I voted for Trump. I didn't really like either candidate last time as Trump had so much drama in business dealings in his past but I couldn't vote for Hillary just to see her swinging on Obama's nutsack over Obamacare. Start a healthcare system where a lot pay more, some pay nothing, and healthcare companies dropping out because they're going bankrupt? So what happens when the last company bows out? I know a few people who voted against Hillary for that same reason.
I was willing to give a shrewd businessman a chance over a known typical politician.
Trump promised to bring the jobs back but one had to figure that automation finished a number of jobs and the rest went overseas where the labor is cheap, taxes are lower and all the OSHA and EPA rules pretty much don't exist. No way to get those jobs back either.
Trump wanted to build the wall but I knew he was going to fight for funds because the mexicans damn well weren't going to pay for it.
Trump wanted to drain the swamp but I knew he was going to have to work with those same people on his own plans for personal greed. Yeah, he might have gotten rid of the insects but he kept the carnivores.
In my eyes Trump was the last shot the USA had since maybe Ross Perot...and he can't get it done....we need a real business minded person at the top and legions more beneath but there's too much money in politics and too much politics and partisanship and not enough decision making. It's a corporate run planet with too much influence on politicians for me to think that it will really matter who the next Loser-In-Chief is.
Voting is completely overrated because we just vote for people, not on issues, we don't decide issues about foreign policies or where the money gets spent, just on who gets to be the next shill for corporate America. And even if you do vote the electoral college determines the winning candidate.
So vote away and jerk off for me too, I've seen this script play out for decades and the only real changes are going to be for the worse. If I get out of the recliner that night it will be to go to the bathroom to take a healthy shit, I'll get more out of that than any of you will achieve by voting.
Might seem negative but I'm being totally realistic about this issue.
