I went the Current South as well when it was up. Wild but fun. I personally remember a very large tree turned up in the river looking very angry and was to get around. I'm going later this year in Colorado and Montana. Hope everybody has fun.

Current, Jacks Fork, Niangua, Meramec, White rivers in MO. Buffalo in Ark. Been on all numourous times.
Some are not kid friendly safety wise.
Currently working the Meramec this week and next for a friend's outfit. It's literally being on another planet.

Northeast of the State Park a fair hike. Where Hwy K crosses river. They have canoes and stuff also. I don't think they allow fireworks
