In trump’s own words
January 30: Trump on Coronavirus, “We have it very well under control, and I think it’s going to have a very good ending. So that I can assure you!”

February 2: Trump on Coronavirus, “Well, we pretty much shut it down coming in from China, but we did shut it down!”

February 10: On Fox News Trump says without evidence that the coronavirus "dies with the hotter weather… You know, a lot of people think that goes away in April with the heat.”

February 24: "The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA.”

February 25: Trump falsely claims “You may ask about the coronavirus, which is very well under control in our country. We have very few people with it, and the people that have it are … getting better. They’re ALL getting better!”

February 26: Trump wrongly says the coronavirus "is a flu" and that “whatever happens, we’re totally prepared.”

February 26: Trump baselessly predicts the number of US cases is "going very substantially down" to "close to zero”

February 26: Trump wrongly says the flu death rate is "much higher" than Dr. Sanjay Gupta said. Coronavirus has 10X death rate compared to flu. If 60K die from flu then 600K will die from Coronavirus!

February 27: Trump baselessly said, "It's going to disappear. One day -- it's like a miracle -- it will disappear.”

February 28: Trump said at a rally, Coronavirus is “the new Democratic Hoax.”

March 2: Trump falsely claims “nobody knew of the number of US flu deaths”.

March 2: Trump says a vaccine is coming "relatively soon”. Only Trump did not bother to mention that CDC had told him earlier that day that a vaccine was a year to a year and a half away.

March 4: Trump said he believes people infected with the novel coronavirus may get better "by sitting around and even going to work."

March 5: Trump wrongly claims the virus only hit the US "three weeks ago”. Trump was informed of a confirmed case on January 21(6 weeks prior).

March 5: World Health Organization (WHO), based on data collected around the world, stated the global mortality rate for coronavirus at 3.4%. Trump says: “I think the 3.4 % is really a false number, this is just my ‘Hunch’!”

March 6: As the number of cases and deaths in Italy rises, Trump says “I hear the numbers getting much better in Italy.”

March 6: Trump tells cameras, “Anybody who wants a test can get one.” VP Pence said the day prior that Americans could not get tested simply because they wanted to get tested. "You may not get a test unless a doctor or public health official prescribes a test."

March 6: Trump muses that "maybe the coronavirus improved US jobs numbers.”

March 6: "I like the numbers being where they are. I don't need to have the numbers double because of one ship," Trump said of passengers on the Grand Princess cruise ship.

March 7: Trump said that doctors he's come across as the administration tries to get a handle on the outbreak have been surprised about how much he knows about COVID-19. "Maybe I have a natural ability," he said. "Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president."

March 11: Trump’s Address from Oval Office wrongly states Insurance companies will pay for patients Coronavirus treatment. Next day Insurance Coalition corrected Trump and said they will pay ONLY for Co-payments, NOT treatment.

March 13: Trump declares National Emergency. “As you know Europe was just designated as the hot spot right now, and we closed that border a while ago so that was lucky or through talent or through luck… call it whatever you want.” The travel ban had not even been implemented, scheduled to start that night.

March 13: Asked why his Admin previously disbanded the national pandemic office which would have significantly prepared the United States, “When you say me, I didn’t do it. We have a group of people… You say we did that, but I don’t know anything about it.” This, after Trump’s presser from Feb. 26 where it was previously brought up and discussed with Trump.

March 13: Backpedaling about whether or not he should get tested and self-isolate for Coronavirus after being in direct contact with those carrying the virus, “I asked them that same question, and they said, ‘You don’t have any symptoms whatsoever.’”

Che' was a murderer and marxist revolutionary.

That is your hero 9500- go to Venezuela and see how his marxism works.

And - thank you for being honest about your political proclivities - for Once.

Why does 9500 only post old dead guys as heros - StoneWall Inn fixation???

Yeah, I wrote a big check, for me, to the federal mafia yesterday. It hurt. I'm losing money and still have to pay up. I get very little in return for what I pay. The feds will flush a good part of what I send them down the drain, on stupid shit or through waste and inefficiency. Other than national defense, there's not a lot the federal government does that my state and local governments can't do better.

I think you post the photos of Che for shock value, but do know you're a fan of Bernie. Anyway, here's the hierarchy of Tiny for them and others:

Che Guevara and Communist Revolutionaries - They take 100% of everything you've got. They kill people to try to gain power, as Che did in Cuba, Zaire and Bolivia. Then when they get it they kill more people. Che Guevara, M.D., was Castro's executioner, kind of a combination of Johann Reichart and Heinrich Himler on a much smaller scale. And what was the result? A destitute economy where people don't have enough food to eat, with extreme shortages, and with salaries of $50 per month or less. If you don't believe me you should visit the place, or just go to your local strip club and talk to a few of the Cubanas. If Che types come to power I take up arms.

Bernie Sanders - Sanders will just take 70% of what you've got. The problem, nobody's as far left as him anymore, for good reason. Some of the Europeans tried the extremely high taxation, wealth tax, etc., and it didn't work. They had to reverse course. If Sanders types come to power I quit working and give away anything he's going to try to take from. In other words, I quit paying taxes to the bastards.

Biden -- I figure he'll take about 55% of what you make, including the legitimate taxation imposed at the state and local level. He didn't previously scare the shit out of me, like Sanders or Che. But he's getting there now. Sanders, AOC and the like are going to have a big influence on his administration

Republicans - Not ideal, you'll still end up giving away 40% of what you make to various governments, but at least you're not a slave. If they have control of the presidency, Senate and House though they'll run up the debt just like the Democrats.

Tiny - thank you for a good summary of terrorist Che'/
If he had not been photogenic for t-shirts - he would be just another terrorist for Fidel.

I agree with you assessment of the choices.

And that Both parties are guilty of the horrendous national dEbt.

Our Constitutional framers screwed up - they could not imaging deficit spending and did not outlaw it in the Constitution.

Oeb, He was a useful symbol for the Castros, because he died young and left a good looking corpse.

Well written and True!
Don't know how many corpses You have seen in person - Che' left striking pics from life.

There is a documentary from the CIA agent who captured him in Bolivia - tried to dissuade the Bolivians from executing him. failed

The pic of Che's corpse is not pretty.

9500's pic looks like One that would be seen on the Walls at the StoneWall Inn in NY.

Corpses are Ugly.

Yeah - been there - more than any cop on any beat in America.

I'll spare you the YouTube video, but I recently saw a Hoover Institute interview where Milton Friedman was a chair or founder (you tell me) and he defined Libertarianism. The extreme. And the commonly accepted one.

In it, he was asked about civil liberties. Then he threw the question back and ask his colleague to define civil liberties. That's when I scoffed loudly and just had to turn them off. Do harm to no one?

Yours and my taxes should be used to better the relationship between citizens and those in authority to to uphold the law. But now we see the unrest of Reaganomics when it comes to protecting the colored.

Do you think paying all those taxes all those years has helped to better the relationship between law enforcement and the poor?

You're right about the Che signature close. You know me so well. But I answered a post about a pending civil war in earnest. The more this selfish asshole (and Barr) tests his constitutional powers, the more the disenfranchised will need to revolt in a much more serious way. See me as a litmus test.

You can't say I didn't warn you about current events long ago. I'm warning those reading this now: shit is real. Keep your ear to the ground. Listen to the pulse. Push it? You get it back.

I'll look for the video in a sec.

We need smaller schools closer to home, with shorter hours. Kids are stuck in school for such long hours because they live in suburbs where parents are afraid to let them play outside. Before suburban sprawl, long schooldays, and electronic entertainment, kids had outdoor lives and chores to keep them busy.

How we get out of this shit starts with recognizing what shit we're in.

See my response to your post in the Stone thread. I'm not sure whether you're describing BLM riots or the federal government's response to Covid, but either way I don't see what either has to do with federal taxation. BLM is a distraction from real problems, like a fucked up criminal justice system, an educational system that prioritizes teachers unions instead of students, and public health and a health care system that costs out the wazoo but does a piss poor job of providing good, affordable outcomes, not even mentioning our response or lack thereof to Covid. All of this hurts blacks more than whites. The problem is inefficient government and, in the case of health care, inefficient incentives and regulation. We already spend more on incarceration, education and health care than just about any place in the world. You're not going to improve any of that by blindly throwing more money at it or by taking capital away from the capitalists.

BLM riots? You're steering straight right wing. Are these times getting to you? Stray over to my side.

I have some hope for you. Those tax dollars need to be spent wisely. Not killing the colored. Training and reprogramming for a better society.
