I've used it myself. I happened to be stationed at an Air Base in South Korea on election day. It was a bit hard to make it home to the polls from there.

Some people can't make it to the polls for various reasons. They can request a ballot if they wish to vote. But there's a big difference between an absentee ballot requested by the voter and mass mailing of ballots to all registered voters. If you can't see that, it's pointless to try and explain it to you. "There are none so blind as they who will not see."

The story is a red herring/ non event. Absentee are a necessary evil that serve a valid purpose fora very limited and narrow set of circumstances. Widespread mail-in ballots are a gateway to fraud

Voter fraud is real and has happened on both sides of the spectrum, however democratics are much better at it.

Think, Tammany Hall ran NYC for more than a hundred years. Chicago had the Daley family. The Democratic Party are the ones suppressed poor and black voters in the south since the 15th amendment was passed.
