If its nice out, a drive up the back (east) side of the Sandias is always in order, especially since the tram is closed down right now. Favorite trails up there are Tree Springs, 10K north/Survey, any direction from the upper parking lot along the Crest Trail.

Lower elevation stuff if it isn't quite as nice includes Mystery Trail, Faulty, Tres Pistoles - all east of town. If you want to stay closer, any of the foothills trails off of Tramway, Ellana Gallegos, Piedra Lisa are pretty, especially in the morning or evening. And walks in the Bosque or along the acequias in the north valley are spectacular this time of the year!
