What a terribly poor article! It compares apples and oranges! It starts off talking about the DAILY rate and then switches and starts talking about the annual TOTAL!!

YESTERDAY, more people likely died in the U.S. from coronavirus then from cancer or heart disease. Hopefully, after the next 264 days, coronavirus won't kill more people in the U.S. then cancer or heart disease in all of 2020!!

Can you say that again, and again, and again and again?

Just for reference, 58,000 people died in the Vietnam War. It lingered for years. In less than 4 months, COVID-19 has killed more people than died in Vietnam.
I agree that the odds of dying from it are small. HOWEVER, tell that to the people who died from it. Make no mistake, this is bad stuff and sadly, the administration has bungled it, lying to us and firing people who had the education and intelligence to shorten the shut downs and save lives.

The more cases, the larger the reservoir. The larger the reservoir, the more exposure. The more exposure, the more cases. The more cases, the larger the reservoir becomes. The number of cases does not increase linearly.

My guess is no matter what they did you would have criticized them.
