This was a great informative thread with rational discussion until BlisswithaKriss shows up and spouts all political nonsense again.

As for the shortage of N95 masks, seems that when Obama was President they gave out 75% of the stockpile for emergencies. They never got replenished. The first year or two was about increasing prices too much because of dramatic increase in demand. Probably realistic to scale back, but it never kept on a program to keep buying N95 masks. To be fair, doesn't matter who is in charge, that is the way Federal bureaucracy works most of the time. Of course the press blames who ever is in charge the day they are needed.

he's been governor beginning in 2011, long before trump ever took office, what's he been doing?

all he does is pontificate and blame now, so great isn't it

no, he just blames trump for not planning for that... easy enough to do isnt it? all in some kind of look how righteous I am indignation

he even gets it wrong in his rant when he asks trump which 26,000 do you pick to die

he says 400 ventilators were delivered when its 4,000, and they are working as fast as they can on more

the act he wants trump to enforce is being done without need for enforcement

its just some talking point that eager dumbasses glom onto
Why does New York have the right to horde all the ventilators anyway?

What if they need them in Mexico soon?

A proper liberal should consider all of mankind, not just the people within his arbitrarily defined borders.

What is your metric for a “great job of butt holing each other?”

Surely you have some measuring stick, dillsy.

I think some people already have immunity to covid-19 because it was out before the leaders announced

there are plenty of people I know who had the same symptoms and who got very ill and flu medicine was not helping them a few months ago and they were diagnosed with a virus but it didn't have a name

And now all of a sudden we "just now" get people getting it in the United States

The truth is people die every day but the death rate from this virus does not yield the entire economy shutting down

I mean Walmart is a breeding ground itself and I personally feel that more people are being exposed to it in places like that then they would be on a regular basis because now everyone too crowded in together as a panic

We need to slowly get things back to normal this has gone on long enough
