Texas lieutenant governor says the economy dying is worse than his death

What are your thoughts?

Is sacrificing the economy to save lives too risky?

This is a media driven panic - a disease with less morbidity/mortality than influenza A - and we are destroying our economy over the fear.

Time to step back and look at the assumptions driving the panic - and reassess the actions imposed on the populace.

This cure is worse than the disease.

If true that 98% that get this virus will survive, I say go back to work and at 72 I'll take my chances.

Hurry up. I hear they've got lots of job openings in foods service in New York City.

It is not just about the food service industry. You have to look at the economic impact each industry has on others.

and to be honest with you guys, I think most people are getting to the point to where they're willing to take the risk as well.

And Trump knows that.

Some of us just kept working, although I’m a couple decades younger. Someone has got to keep the economy limping along, and not being in a high risk category might as well be me.

I honestly think that anyone that is not in a high-risk category should be making all the money they can right now no matter what industry you're in because if this s*** hits the fan then everyone's going to be broke sooner or later so the last thing people need to be doing is not making money because that $1,200 check ain't gonna do shitt for real bills

Just how I feel about it because if I'm not able to work $1,200 will not last me long so I'm not holding my breath for any handouts

What they call the cure is the disease. I don't stay home and i don't walk around with a surgical mask or wear rubber glove. I use my head and live my life. What is distressing to me is seeing stupid people scrambling through stores wearing surgical masks that aren't even air tight, but yet they think they are greatly reducing their chances of contracting a virus. I believe they are exploiting a virus that is quite common to contract throughout the world and they put a notorious name on it to give the impression it's highly contagious and highly virulent. They do this to monitor how people react. It's social engineering and for the most part it's working.

This whole thing is a Democratic Hoax, don't worry about it. You should go make out with a hooker that has it. You can probably get her for about 10 bucks.
