I suggested an attorney because: just in case you will need one, you have one lined up to respond to the police. Maybe it is a little much, if you don't have any experience with this sort of thing.

Many years ago, I had three dates with a young lady. On the third date it was shown how crazy this woman really was, just disconnected ideas and a lack of reason - too strange for me. I took her home and didn't call her again. No sex, or anything like it ever happened. The only kiss was a peck on the cheek at the door on our last date.

About 6 to 8 weeks later I got a call from the police to come in for an interview. I took a lawyer with me. It turns out she had accused. I listened to the cop with the attorney, and didn't say a word. The cop even said they had tests run that proved I did it. At the end of the interview: my attorney responded with "we have no statement to make at this time".

That was the last of it. They have to prove you are guilty; you don't have to prove anything. The cops lie all the time, they did not have any tests.

So, the main point is "shut the fuck up". Ignore her. If the police call, you say nothing at all, because you don't have to respond in anyway.

I hate hearing situations like this..regardless of what side it comes from.

My suggestion, just ignore the little mite. Discard create a new email & hopefully your phone is a added app line or a throw away. But first, I would just ignore her.

When it happens to me I throw a little gas in the fire before I block them.
Therefore I am able to vent and unload whatever stress/ tensions I may have from everyday life..and I'm certain that blackmale advanced to homicidal thoughts. LOL!@!

The first few times it happens it can be extremely terrifying. It saddens me that people are like that.

I hope it turns out in your favor. Just know, not everyone has that mentality or moral compass.
In my opinion..most don't!!

She is trying to get financial gain from you. The law is specific. If she had a complaint, then she should have made a report. Now any report would be suspect. Filing a false report is a crime. One that judges don't look upon favorably."

My experience with keeping emails on file.

I had a really bad employee, with many - many problems. I started documenting the problems with emails that included discussions of behavior, language, warning letters a probation letter and a termination letter.

After termination the probation letter was submitted to the state unemployment office as documentation. She claimed that she never received the letter; therefore, she couldn't be fired. I had the header that showed her computer received the letter.

The result. Documents prove your case. Get used to it, it only takes a few seconds to save and document emails. Without the document, the company would have had to pay for the unemployment checks out of the company reserve money with the state. She got paid, starting 1 week later. But the cost came from state unemployment reserve funds, not ours.
