It looks like around 80 million people are on some type shelter in place mandate nationwide. The social distancing is the only shot we have to get the virus under control. The link below has daily totals.

IBM is still around because a lot companies still use mainframes and are running Cobol and DB2 for their business applications.

Yeah, I don't think the economy will recover for 2-3 years. I don't agree about the nation wide quarantine. Let the disease work thru the herd like it does for all the other flus.

!st paragraph - a thermometer only indicates a patient's temperature - there is no specificity for diagnosis. A temperature of over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit is non-specific for any disease - much less a difference between Influenza and the Wuhan virus.

Very unlikely for Wuhan virus to be around "forever" - Example- the spanish flu of 1918 had its' run - and disappeared. These viruses mutate and change - and when a population reaches a resistance level - it cannot spread - and disappears. Wuhan strain will also eventually disappear.
