Learning on a daily basis is One of the things separating Conservatives from Fascist DPST's - who have only their narrative to parrot!

Quid Pro Joe will be released from his gaffe proof bubble to tell what he would do about CV. Hopefully, he'll take questions from the press. Of course, if he does the press pool will be small and planted but Joe can lose a one man ass kicking contest.

I'd use star wars instead of star trek, but they aren't any good star wars facepalm memes to use.

#JoeMentia was released from his gaffe proof bubble to try to livestream. Fail. He wanders off camera and forgets the year.
Start to scramble for plan B & C, dims.

This isn't the livestream I guess they are trying to hideit.

So Bernie has basically dropped out giving Joe a clear pathway to the Nomination. Joe increasingly exhibits signs of dementia.

What will the DNC do? Make the Covid19 excuse and suspend primaries so he won't have the necessary delegate count? Have Joe step aside? Make some other medical excuse? Then screw him at the convention.

Joe doesn't seem to have the mental fortitude over the next 6 months for a campaign. He's more fragile than Hillary.

And yet at this point in time, Biden is leading Trump in polls at the national level and is either ahead or within the margin of error in all battleground states.

As I've said several times before, the election will come down to 5 or 7 states, all of which Trump won by razor-thin margins in 2016.

And at this point in time Trump's approval rating of his handling of this crisis is over 50% and if that holds up, he will probably win.

I think border control and jobs could be the biggest issue behind the virus itself. Will a "we welcome all comers into American and guarantee free health care" be a popular platform for the Democrats or a detriment? Will "no more drilling for gas and oil, no more fracking" be a popular platform with millions out of work or will Trump's "buy American" be the winning platform?

I know what my answer will be.

Trump's approval rate for the handling of the virus is in the low to mid 50s.

His overall approval rate is at 43.2% according to FiveThirtyEight. It was 44.6% 2 weeks ago. And RealClearPolitics has Trump at 44.3%. It was 46.3% 2 weeks ago.

Rasmussen, Trump's favorite poll, had Trump at +5 favorable in late February. Now -6.

There has been a minor uptick in Trump's approval overall rating in the last 2-3 days and it will be interesting to see if that continues. But over the past 2 week overall, his approval ratings have dropped significantly.

Assuming for the moment Biden is the Demoratic candidate, at no time has he proposed "open borders". Certainly he has proposed less strict immigration policies than Trump, something I totally support Biden on. Biden also does not support free health care for all. He does support keeping Obamacare and making it better. Trump has proposed nothing on healthcare.

As far as jobs, any cut back in jobs would be ill-received by those it impacts. Trump is possibly the worst POTUS in history when it comes to protecting the environment.

Sorry, but I don't believe in "buy American". I want to buy products as inexpensively as possible. Or at least in the ballpark price-wise. Otherwise you are just subsidizing American companies.

I thought a smart guy like you would have a LITTLE concern about the debates...senile Joe won't know where he is or the last thing he said.
He is going to get KILLED in the debates SPEED.

Default I'm not the only one suspecting this Speedy...

Notice the DNC Club is keeping Joe Biden tucked away while the pantomime is presented. In the latest production, and do not doubt – this is a full-on created production, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo presents: “I will lead the way’….

This is NOT organic. WATCH – This is from today:

.

Notice how the graphics appearing on the screen are timed to prompt the oration; and all of it is targeting heart message, emotion over logic. There is a teleprompter directly in front of and below Cuomo so he can reference the graphics as he gives his press remarks. You can see him checking the monitor for the next prompt. This is all rehearsed. Everything about this is a production.

A prepared script, graphics with points of emphasis, along with national media interrupting all broadcasts to run these messages, this draft nomination effort is brilliantly designed. People in Ohio, Florida, Arizona and Michigan are wondering why they are watching a New York governor presser every day on their televisions.

You have to admit these are brilliant political operations.

Cuomo has learned from his cnn brother - and utilizes the tools of the trade well.

An excellent propagandist - Putini, Xi, Stalin, and Mao all would have been proud to have his services.

He is acting like he is running - if Biden is inicompetent at the DNC convention - they will seek other candidates.

A Cuomo H... fight - and ticket - likely H.../ cuomo VP - would be interesting.

In 2016, Trump did not have to defend his political record. Now he does. He can be attacked on several fronts in debates. Yes I have a little concern about Biden in debates. In all honesty I don't put too much stock in the debates. Biden got destroyed in Iowa and NH voting and everyone counted him out. Then he wins in SC and has destroyed Sanders in almost every primary since then. Did Biden beat Sanders in the debates? Not in my opinion.

40-45% of the electorate will vote against Trump no matter who the Democratic nominee is. That is pretty much fact, just as we know a large percentage of the electorate will vote for Trump without a second thought. Debates are inconsequential to this part of the electorate. That leaves about 10-15% of voters who have not yet decided for whom they will vote. Maybe this segment of the voters will watch the debates and let the winner of the debates determine their vote. Who really knows?
