Went to Wally World yesterday to check it out. Only saw one guy with a face mask! I had mine in my pocket!

Otherwise, canned food shelves were pretty much bare. Toilet paper was gone save for one or two emptying cases. I bought a 4 pack, generic, for $.97! Didn’t need it but got it anyway. Obviously going to have to make an “0 Dark Early” raid. Check Hy Vee tomorrow!

CDC says you only need the mask if you are sick, so you don't spread. They say healthy people don't need the mask, and they should be left for those who need them. Work in the grocery retail industry. Have had numerous conversations with store directors for various chains. Basically there saying once this settles down it will take 6 to 9 months to get things back to normal, as this panic buying has destroyed the distribution chain nationwide, for even basic can goods and paper products. People just don't understand that things like dairy and fresh bread can only be increased so much as they are already closer to max capacity. You don't just start getting cows to produce 10x as much milk, or have the capacity to bake 10x as much bread. If people wouldn't panic out of their minds this wouldn't be so bad as what your seeing in the stores.

I'm home safe
Supposed to go down some Utah to Louisiana this weekend but my casino closed and cancelled my reservation and Bourbon Street shut down

Uggghh this is a sucky time for this all to happen!

. . . and I take professional advice for what it's worth . . . if it makes sense to me. I'm the same with my doctor. Even the smartest of us are wrong and the layman is right. Life has taught me to question everything and apply my own experiences, knowledge and thought to what I'm being told.

Frankly the stories on face masks have been contradictory and confusing. First they tell you they don't really work, then it's don't buy to make sure "health care professionals" have them on hand, now they say don't really need them unless you're sick.

Ever been in an operating room as a patient? EVERYBODY there has a face mask EXCEPT YOU! Why? Goes for dentists too.

I'm keeping my mask(s) handy!
