Skin Two Magazine was first published in 1983. It was produced in London and distributed around the world. It soon became an international phenomena being stocked in shops from Paris to Tokyo. The magazine was the number one outlet of information about fetish fashion, events, parties, people and news. It had a specific focus on latex and other forms of fetish fashion. The information grew from a focus around the fetish fashion community. As the publication expanded the information grew to cover an array of fetishes and the bdsm community in general. Over many years Skin Two Magazine built a cult community and following. It was involved with the likes of launching the careers of many fetish models and models alike. Notable names involved with Skin Two include Dita Von Teese, Katy Perry, Tim Burton and Jean Paul Gaultier. The publication soon spilled over into the fetish club scene. The Skin Two Rubber Ball was launched and became a massive success. Held in London annually, the event attracted visitors from around the world and focused on bringing an alternative community together. The event has seen 10,000s of attendees and was enjoyed by people from all walks of life. Skin Two focused on being a media voice for this alternative community around latex and fetishm in general. The company joined forces with Honour in 2002 to create an exclusive clothing collection. Skin Two now calls Honour home and the names continue to provide fetish products and information as a united front.
