The Congress voted for Clinton's impeachment in October of 1998 as a result of the Starr Report which was released one month before in September of 1998.

The Starr report was put together by Independent Counsel Ken Starr who was appointed as a special prosecutor to investigate Bill Clinton in 1994.

They had 4 years of bullshit investigations before they voted to impeach because he cheated on his wife and lied about it. The hypocrisy astonishes me.

Let's let the house of representatives do it's job and get some testimony and other facts before a vote occurs.

That's if Trump has the balls to stop obstructing and obfuscating the issue with bullshit like this.

LOL. You talk about bullshit. We already had the Special Counsel Investigation by Mueller which fizzled on the Dems.

So by all means, let's have another special prosecutor put in place for Trump. 3 or 4 years from now, they can present their findings to impeach Trump at the later end of his second term.

As it is, the Dems are sandbagging this because they know they don't have anything, are simply trying to dig up dirt on Trump to impact the upcoming Presidential election. It's obviously all politics and no substance still.

The Constitution states the House has the responsibility to impeach a president not a select committee or special prosecutors. FYI, the Mueller report is ongoing and redacted parts of Volume 1 will soon be uncovered.

The fat lying bastard is projecting awareness of guilt each and every day. If he’s innocent of any wrongdoing in the Ukraine why doesn’t he stop his obstruction and prove it ?

Trump and the Ukrainein president have both said there is no there, there.

It's the left cooking up another witch hunt at this point. And who in their right mind acquiesces to a one sided bullshit investigation.

Make it a formal inquiry granting the Republicans the ability to subpoena and investigate. Why are the dems playing shadow games and hiding anything and everything about the actual investigation?

An impeachment isn’t a courtroom trial.
The House is responsible for the inquiry and drawing articles to be presented to the Senate for a yes or nay vote. This isn’t going to be another Freedom caucus clown show who will carnival bark the Deep state bullshit. This is about the extortion of the Ukrainian government and illegal campaign contributions.

The Constitution was violated by members of Congress during the Nixon and Clinton Impeachment. Each incident had different rules pulled from their ass for political reasons. Much like the fat lying bastard who wants the inquiry to be his way or no way.

I’m thinking the polls are moving rapidly towards impeachment and removal, so the fat lying bastard squatting in the Oval Office will take the easy path by resigning. The remaining trump sycophants will scream for his pardon and Pence will let him walk on federal charges, but he will have to deal with all the State investigations going on.

Even from your own article.

A formal impeachment inquiry could help give House Democrats more tools to get information from an administration that has been blocking their attempts to do so
What are the pussy dems afraid of in opening a formal inquiry?

Maybe you’re astonished due to a completely incorrect understanding of history, not a word of that statement being accurate.
