His application to Occidental college said he was born in Kenya. His first autobiography, that he really wrote, said he was born in Kenya. Come on...Let's take the man at his word. Speaking of words, he also said he was a Muslim to George Steponallofus during an interview when he wasn't plagiarizing Deval Patrick.
Hey, my Amazon kindle is racist. I had to correct Deval three times. Amazon wouldn't accept it as a name.

Donald Trump finally admitted Friday that "President Barack Obama was born in the United States," reversing himself on the issue that propelled him into national politics five years ago.
https://www.cnn.com/2016/09/15/polit...tes/index.html
"Theories have persisted despite Obama's pre-election release of his official Hawaiian birth certificate in 2008, confirmation by the Hawaii Department of Health based on the original documents, the April 2011 release of a certified copy of Obama's original Certificate of Live Birth (or long-form birth certificate), and contemporaneous birth announcements published in Hawaii newspapers. Polls conducted in 2010 (before the April 2011 release) suggested that at least 25% of adult Americans said that they doubted Obama's U.S. birth, and a May 2011 Gallup poll found that the percentage had fallen to 13% of American adults (23% of Republicans). The fall has been attributed to Obama's release of the long form in April 2011."
To be honest, I don't care. Obama left office in January 2017. At this point in time, no one cares about Obama's birthplace other than a few zealots on this forum. This is one time when it is truly appropriate to move on.

Wow! What a conundrum. Who do you believe? Trump or Obama? I'll have to check my party affiliation.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I've said "You're right!" and walked out of the room because I was weary of the bullshit ... and just wanted to move on!
It's dismissive, but some actually latch onto it as though it was an "admission"! It's not. Just dismissive.
Obaminable never produced his Birth Certificate .. not even a copy.
It's better lost and unavialble for him. It's out there. It will surface.
All infection does....sooner or later.
As how that subject matter relates to the thread topic ...
.. Trump hasn't "hidden" any tax returns. The IRS has them ... remember the agency under Obaminable that punished people for opposing him and the DNC?
I don't have any of my originals either! Does anyone else keep their "originals" that were filed with the IRS? IJA.
If the IRS kicked back my return objecting to some deduction or serious math mistake that required me to refile an "amended return," then the "amended return" would be my tax return for that specific year and not the copy I retained until I heard back from the IRS about the one I originally filed.
If one doesn't understand that ... then quit using your existing preparer.

I stand by my contention that Trump lied about releasing his taxes. It was an intentional big fat lie. Like so much of what he says. Lots of big fat lies. He said he would release his taxes when the audit was completed. That is true. That's what our liar-in-chief said. I wonder if the feds are still auditing his taxes from 2010, or 2011 or 2012, or 2103, or 2014, or 2015, etc. etc. etc. Will he live up to his word that he will release his taxes that aren't under audit? Mark my word. Not this liar. Like I said, he effortlessly moves from one lie to another. The expression "pathological liar" is absolutely applicable when it is used to describe our president. The next thing I expect to hear from those who refuse to discuss his constant lying is why lying is necessary. They will defend our president's ongoing lies by presenting some absurd rationale about why lying serves a greater purpose.

Your concern is facetious. On a scale of one to ten, which of the following lies was more damaging to American institutions and policies?
It was rogue IRS agents in Cincy who abridged the 1st Amendment rights of American citizens.
Nobody in D.C. knew about the "Fast and Furious" gun running operation that violated international law.
Al Qaeda is on the run.
An American ambassador was killed by a rogue video.
If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.
Your monthly health insurance premium will cost less than a cell phone contract.
hildebeest's claim that the State Department had copies of all of her emails.
hildebeest's claim that she never sent or received classified intel over her unsecure personal server.
hildebeest's claim that the State Department gave her permission to use an unsecure, private server.
Or Trump not letting dim-retards see and critique out of context parts of his tax returns. For context, note how Hooker Harris and Spartacus lyingly took Kavanaugh's remarks and misrepresented them out of context to smear him on a national stage when they had the microphone. No U.S. laws were broken when Trump refused to turn over his tax returns.

The excessive lying isn't necessary. It's stupid. There are a lot of people who won't vote for him because of it.
On the tax returns specifically he sounds like the little boy who cried wolf. Yeah, the first time around MAYBE that served a purpose, getting a naive few who believed the audit excuse to vote for him who otherwise would have voted for Hillary. The second time around it doesn't hold water.
Still, like I said earlier, this is America. He's entitled to keep his tax returns private if he wants to. And if I were him, there's no way I'd put them out in public for every Tom, Dick and Harry to rifle through.
By the way, he's not literally lying about the audits. He and/or his companies will be under one audit or another until the day he dies.
The bigger question is why will some of us potentially believe it's necessary to vote for him in 2020 despite all this. Answer: Because the new Democratic Party elite, headlined by Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Elizabeth Warren scare the hell out of us -- see my reply to your and SpeedRacer's posts in the "Trump Another Lie" thread.

You mean the ones who didn't vote for him last time?
If they are opposed to voting for liars ... they'll stay home.*
*Not an admission that Trump is lying, either. Based on the current field of loons they will probably vote a split ticket tossing in to support Trump along with kicking out the DoNothing Democrats that promised to oppose Pelosi and wanted something done beside toss fluff balls at Trump for two years.
Don't worry .... it'll be over by this time two years from now. More of the same!

Burying your head in the sand and not admitting that your hero is a liar does not remove the fact that your hero is a liar.

Uh, the world doesn't revolve around you and your footnotes. I think all politicians lie, I never said you think that.
You should accept the compliment gracefully, that you had a good point when you said, presumably, Americans who are opposed to voting for liars, regardless of party affiliation, will stay home instead of going to the polling booth.
That said, people who actually believe Trump does not lie (and I do not believe you are one of them) aren't facing reality.

The good counselor is as big a perpetrator of Trumps lies as Rudy Giuliani. I do think he believes them. By the way counselor, I don't care what you think or believe. Just know when you go vote, my vote will cancel yours out. You have my permission to leave the forum now. No further questions counselor. You are dismissed. On a happier note Lusty said your still in his Pajama Boy Club
