Short Notice Challenges

I've sent out a number of messages today in an attempt to set something up after a tentative plan (in my mind, anyway) fell through.

Nothing worked out. I guess I spend my money on scotch, cigars, and dice games instead.

I see some "hungry" women post here, but they don't respond frequently. Am I a bad one to see?

Sometimes an opportunity or urge to play comes up on short notice and it can be difficult to find somebody to play with.



I think probably most of the women just aren't checking in very often so they don't see the requests or PMs on short notice.



It was nice to have the provider thread on short notice that used to be here so we could see who was actively looking for play partners.

The p411 available now listening was mostly just used as another way to advertise. In my experience the women I contacted were rarely if ever even available that day let alone within a couple hours.

Short notice will always have a lower success rate but it is my preferred way of meeting. My work makes me reschedule a fair number of events planned days in advance and quite often my mood changes. Anticipation doesn't do anything for me either.

From my point of view at least I cant speak for every girl but short notice usually still involves hair and makeup, a screening to some degree and the time allowed for the setting up a space that's lived in rather than rented hourly. If that isnt her priority then 9 out of 10 of you would ghost her at the last minute too so either way it goes those last minute "impulses" dont really add up in appearances. Sometimes it's called a hobby for a reason.

9 out of 10 times girls ghost guys who plan ahead so we have that.... I can make up numbers too.

Talking for myself I don't expect short notice from anyone, but the scenerio you lay out isn't what I look for when I ask for short notice. Normally I am already screened or have made sure I am easily screened. It's probably outcall, but how much work is it to get a hotel if the girl chooses to get one? That is ignoring that you seem to look down on that with your snide hourly comment. When I want short notice I am not expecting the girl too look like she is ready for glamour shots. I want clean and cute.

It's the most frustrating part of all of this, IMO. When I want it, I want it ASAP, lol! Yes, a planned meeting can culminate into a very nice time, but the whole idea still sucks:
1. Feeling horny, let's make an appointment
2. Appointment made, still feeling horny, time to rub one out
3. One has been rubbed out, now I'm not feeling horny anymore but I'm still on the hook for this appointment I've made.
4. Fuck, let's get this overwith.

"NOW" seems to be the way of the business these days. To the op it's a bummer that you did plan ahead, but still had to scramble. For those of us with families, other jobs etc, last minute can be difficult. For me, I have a protocol of yes (hair, makeup), candles, fresh linens, etc. I feel like these items make me more comfortable, which makes for a better experience all around. Since cancellations happen, and we can't always plan ahead, it might be a good idea to pre-screen with some ladies that you are interested in seeing. Also, I think EROS has an available now light.

On a lighter note, I purposely live close to my place of business. I get requests for "now" all of the time. I can get to my spot real quick. I have had several guys tell me that 15 minutes is too long to wait. hahaha
