Just ask "How much do you charge for 1 hour of your time?" Don't mention anything of a sexual nature and you should not have a problem. If you don't want to be that direct, then as "Is there a place where I can view your rates?" If she doesn't have a website, she will probably just respond "250/hr or whatever. Then the KEY is do not discuss any services (before or after). I never discuss services, but don't mind answering a question about fees. I don't think it is any different than when someone asks me for my hourly fee at my day job.
Some girls will be bitchy if you just keep it short and sweet, but it's safer like that.

Sadly, I understand why this is becoming more common.
Uncle Sam has software that crawls the hoe boards and copies all the info.
Not posting rates is a safety concern for providers.
If folks don't want to ask, via private message, then they do not need to see me.
Posting in public = all risk on provider.
Posting via PM = risk on both parties.
IMO, if a client wants to push all the risk onto me...that is not a client I want to see.

Rates can be posted on here. I see several chicks with posted rates.
Just have to do your homework. It's not hard...

January 1st the government is supposedly going to enforce fosta/sesta law. I believe from what I read, just posting a provider ad on a known site can earn providers a solicitation charge, regardless of whether or not we get caught discussing rates with the wrong guy. Did anyone else read it that way?

I read the law, and the way I understood it, it's specifically targeted towards sites that advertise the facilitation of prostitution or sex trafficking. "Escorts" are still legal, although there's a fine line that can't be crossed. Escorts can list rates for their time on their ads or website, but they can't list specific sexual services. Making hints or using acronyms that refer to sexual services could still be seen as crossing the line if it went to court. Further discussion of rates via phone or text can also be seen as crossing the line if sex acts occurred between the provider and client, and somehow LE ended up involved.
This brings us back to what i was mentioning before. based on what I understand after researching fosta-sesta, I think it's vital that providers post their rates (without mentioning any sexual services). The provider should not be at risk by doing so since escorting is still legal, and it allows a date between provider and client to take place safely. The client can bring an envelope or gift bag, etc.. with cash to pay for the provider's time, leave it on a table or in the bathroom in plain sight, and the date can continue uninterrupted without ever discussing money or specific services. If any sexual activity occurs during the date, it's two consenting adults doing what they want, not prostitution, since money or services were never discussed. The people who get in trouble are always the ones who messed up and specifically discussed money or services via or text or in person to an undercover LE.

I respectfully disagree about what you said regarding putting yourself at risk. I believe you are actually much more at risk if you discuss rates and/or services with clients directly. Posting rates for your time on an ad or website is legal, since the way the law currently stands, escorting is not illegal. Prostitution and sex trafficking is illegal. But it can't be considered prostitution if money and services are never discussed between client and provider.

It’s definitely an annoyance, not openly knowing what rates are. There’s no law against posting a series of numbers, is there?? 120/200/300, for example, would be understood by any hobbyist with a brain.
I know, I know. Every time we outsmart the so called law, they just change the rules, like lil sissies on the playground.

You are correct. An ad is not an offer. Discussing rates privately is.

Where it is not illegal, kinda, almost everywhere you need a license to escort. The process to get the license is complete redicilousness in most areas. California escorting license are only given with a certain number of employees. All employees must refrain from sexual contact or the license is revoked and the "escort" can be charged. If this was a viable option, folks would be doing it.
I am not speaking about the letters put on paper that form a law...
I am referring to the 94% of cases (overall in this country) that end with plea bargains. The reality of what is happening in courtrooms has little to do with the law. They threaten to ruin your life so you take their plea.
We all know cops do not follow the "law" when dealing with prostitution.

Before the internet escorts advertised in local alternative newspapers and magazines.
Their ads had time and price but no activities listed.
That work for many years.

If for some reason state laws make "escorting" require a license, merely advertise "personal intimacy counseling" or some such as nude window washing, naked oven cleaning, etc., laundry folding.
Private home nudity is not against the law since a home is not a private space.

Meant to say a home is not a public space.
