Here's a hypothetical regarding "staying on topic".

Would interjecting the subject of impeachment and denial that two dim-retard presidents were impeached in a thread about a sportswear company be "on topic" or "off topic" hence a hijack of the thread? IMO, it's "off topic" and a thread hijack.

Since it's assuredly the latter, then there's one or more hypocrites lying to others about their so-called "innocence" to the charge they have ever hijacked a thread by posting "off topic".

BTW, highlighting Freudian malapropisms that reveal the down-low proclivities of the poster who posts such malapropisms has nothing to do with grammar.

That would depend on the thread. Responding to the lame assertion and pointing out that being impeached is not a conviction to the Pedant that is purporting it would not be off topic. As for malapropisms, I think you are confused. Using words like gist and verbatim as though they are interchangeable would be the Freudian slip that one either has no, or ignores the concept of reality. With voice to text only a well trained pedant could overcome the pitfall of a electronic "Mondegreen" so to speak, now and then. I hope to reach that level of intellect one day but holding on to truth and reality seems to be slowing me down.

Your post is "Exhibit A" for not staying on topic, which is what this thread is about: "staying on topic."

I hope I do not get points for that last comment.
Relax... Why would he point you for offering to wash his dick?

#6 - Respect the topics presented by those who start a thread. Attempts to derail a thread or change it's direction is referred to as thread hijack and will be discouraged. Attempts to guide a thread in the right direction are appreciated, while responses to posts which hijack a thread are not.

That’s exactly correct. I didn’t write the guidelines, I was sent here to enforce them. I don’t like enforcing gray area guidelines...but since I have to, I’m going to do it in accordance with the owner’s wishes. That being said, it’s incredibly easy to keep your posts in the white area, and never venture close to the gray. The fact that some of you still do it, leads me to be,ieve that you will never change your posting habits. That’s fine, just be aware that 25 point leeway buffer given to everyone to correct their behavior runs out rather quickly...

I clearly said " he could wash it anyway he wants" While that may include you offering him a lending hand if that is your thing, I will keep my hands in my pockets.
