Fungus among US....

So, I see a lot of Toe nail fungus on my clients. Most, not all are diagnosed as diabetic. I have worked with long term, regular clients on getting rid of fungus/yeast.

Meds like Lamisil work, but can cause liver problems.

Just 25 yrs in the medical arena, looking at (mostly) diabetic feet. To those that have it, it seems like a hopeless battle.

Not all who get toenail fungus are diabetic. It can also be contracted by healthy individuals at gyms by being in a hot tub or walking barefoot in a communal shower.
Topical ointments may be able to treat it. Lamisil does have its advantages and disadvantages.

^^ Put some Vicks vapor rub on the toe nail 2 x a day , will clear in about 2 weeks ^^It can also be contracted by healthy individuals at gyms pools locker rooms.

To clarify....

Not ALL diabetics have it/get it.
Not ONLY diabetics get it.

But, it is RARE that I see someone with diabetes that DOESN'T have it.

and not drying your feet good before putting shoes on and water gets taped in ..Cotton socks only should be used
or from pedicures that not cleaned after each person before you if the tools are not Sanitize after each use ..

If you take a few mins to watch the you-tube video by Dr. Berry....he gives EXCELLENT, simple and cheap advice.

Like a lot of hobbyist...Fungus/yeast love moist, dark places that are sweet.

Is toenail fungus something that is contagious? Like if you touch it with your hands can you get fingernail fungus?

I tried this for over two years and all it did was make my shoes smell like they had a cold.

but I think if you used a nail file that has it on it you get it that way ,,
