Reference Checks

A lot of us use provider references when screening, & I can say from experience that not all providers will respond to reference checks as a lot of them are “too busy” or don’t want to lose their clients. FELLAS, please let your references know that you will be using them as a reference. Please use RECENT references as it’s harder to verify someone you saw 5 years ago. To any clients that I have seen please let me know if you need me to send you a P411 invitation.

Miss Leah!! A few providers and I.. (w here I live)were just having a convo about this very subject.. and you my dear ..in one paragraph may I add.. totally nailed it!!

There is no written rule or expected protocol on giving references.. or seeking references for that matter. But it is a courtesy.

I would like to take this opportunity on Princess Leah's thread to thank the ladies in upstate n.y... and a huge thank you to the ladies in San Antonio for helping me.. well with everything.. and gentlemen thank you as well!!!

My favorite provider of all time didn't ask for references. I asked her on my first visit why, and she just smiled and said she did her homework.

The gent can also take the initiative by requesting the reference himself. Some time back when I wanted to see a local legend I sent Pm's to the last three providers I'd seen with contact info for the local legend.

It was as simple as:

Dear ______,

I've requested an appt. with local legend. Would you be so kind as to send a reference for me for our 2 hour session on such and such date? I had a great time -- hopefully you remember our visit well enough to send comment. Here is her contact info: _________________

(if local legend is an ECCIE member)

Or you can just forward this PM to local legend with a short note from yourself.

Hi Johnny and everyone for that matter!!.
I also wanted to add that when I entertain an active hobbiest..I immediately let them know that ( And this is if they are the " loves variety type gent " ).I let them know that I will be more than happy to give them a thumbs up reference..and yes a fella letting a provider know ahead of time.." so and so" will be contacting you.. are you reference friendly.. is one step saved for those of us that require a reference..
The only detail I do not wish a newbie to provide me with.. is a their reference girls contact information.. I accepted that one time and one time only and found out it was a number of his own and that there was no girl on the other end of the phone.
I would rather from this point do my own homework and find out what I need to find out being a low-volume provider most of the time I have the time to do that and I wish to do that.

Oh yes honey. I only PM the other ladies. If their number is listed on their showcase, that's what I'll use. I don't ever pay attention to the numbers they provide

Yes Evelyn..I did feel pretty foolish .. did one of those " slap your forehead" and say " aww man Sindi!!"
At the time that I was conversing with the alias reference.. having no idea it was him!!

Then when I figured it out!! Some time went by..He texts me and says " well what did Sara say about me?" And asks me "Are we good?"
I replied " So very sorry honey..Sara.. your reference..she says your a douche bag"
Haven't heard from him since!! Lol

Unfortunately, you only have one review and that is of a lady who’s account is no longer active. Unless you have and use a P411 account, you’ll need to start over. Contact several ladies who are Newbie Friendly, found here: https://eccie.net/showthread.php?t=1197311.

Work with those who respond on their screening. As mentioned above, before you leave the session be sure to ask each lady if they will provide a reference for you. Then write and post your reviews. Following these steps will make many more doors - and legs - open for you.
