I shaved, and made sure I was presentable, I do like for her to be ready. Makeup is not a requirement, but looking like she hasn't brushed her hair or if she is still in her pj's, that can make me stop, turn around and walk out. Makes me wonder if she even bothered to shower.

I think it’s always better to be safe than sorry. At least look like you put in the effort to look nice for a client. I mean they are spending hundreds of bucks on us, the least we can do is look nice for them.

but seriously, I like a glam look if only to see the skill of the person I am seeing. I mean you can tell a lot about a woman by the effort she puts into her eyebrow game. If I see a just rolled out of bed look, I expect that is how much effort I am going to get. If I see a lady that can't be bothered to blend she is going to cut corners elsewhere too.

We all like different things, but I never understood that whole just out of the shower look. That just screams "I spent no time preparing to meet you" to me.

IMO, you should be looking exactly like the photos in your showcase. Those are the photos that are factoring into a man's decision to see you or not. If you have caked on makeup and airbrushing in your pics that you can't recreate in person, then you should share additional pics to give a potential client an idea of exactly what he will see on the other side of the door. Be honest and transparent.

I feel first impressions are everything and you should look your best the first time you see a client. Caked on make up is gross. Natural beauty is always best! Just enhance the beautiful features you have with some makeup. Shows you have some pride in yourself.
