Did someone on here post it or did I see it. He's supposed to get a bunch of money ... the shooter. Inheritance. He's got a brother so they split it perhaps .. it would depend on the instrument/will/trust agreement or whatever it's based on.
I saw somewhere it's about $800,000 ... which is really nothing for the victims to split....
oh, you mean the deputy ... I'm not familiar with Florida, but that would open up a can of worms for the Sheriff and his department. They can get into training, personnel file, policies and procedures, and directives on that day! None of it had better be "unavailable"! IMO it is difficult for a department of any size to not have some "issues" in those categories.
