Lightbulb A question for the guys...

Why do some guys feel like it’s okay to negotiate donations? If you can’t afford the 300 for my hour then maybe you should find someone else. I have it stated clearly in my ad that any attempt to negotiate my rates will end all communication and put on a DNS list. I just don’t understand why. Any insight?

There wouldn’t be unimaginative tirelessly repetitive threads if you guys would stop doing it. Just sayin.

Likely because the guy doesn’t feel that you’re a $300 value. No one wants to overpay for anything. Just because you set your rate at 300 doesn’t mean that is what it’s worth. Have you ever taken less than 300?

Guys just hoping to catch you when you need money more than you need to stick to your guns. What I've been curious about is how many of those guys go ahead and book at your regular rate ?

In general, all business relationships are negoiciatable and most hobbiests are in the business world and are used to negotiating. Hobbiests have the option of offering and you have the right of refusal.

In the p4p world some hobbiests continue the mentality as they view p4p as a business transaction, while providers are giving up a valuable and emotional piece of their body. Don't take it personal and politely declined their request. It your body and you can charge any rate you choose.

I’ve only had a handful of guys try to negotiate, but it’s been enough to get on my nerves. I don’t go to McDonald’s and offer them less than the advertised price because I feel their burgers are worth less.

It's funny women always think this is a business until a customer treats it like a business

Did u ever consider there might be a woman who charges 300 an hour who on a slow day would welcome a respectfully presented offer of 100/200/250 for services rather than not have any business
U get 3 quotes to build a garage 3000 /4000/4500 u like the 4500 company but cannot afford or justify additional 500. U present ur offer in a respectful manner perhaps u come to an agreement perhaps u use other company perhaps u do without a garage

Or maybe you tell the company beforehand, that you only have $4k to spend. Then you'll see what kind of garage you get for $500 less.

While your analogy is logical, maybe the garage model isn't the best for escorting. What if we compare it to the restaurant business. Would you/have you negotiated a prime rib dinner down from the $60 listed to say $45? Do you negotiate at the grocery store?

Now businesses & customers will do their own thing, so you may answer yes to the above. Some will negotiate, some won't, it seems she's tired of people trying, and that's her right.

I find it interesting though that u have no moral dilemma asking an attorney to barter his services while risking her practice for your child custody case or to offer review specials.

Seems like ur pricing if firm when it suits u and a bit flexible when it fits u

Jeez, what did you do? Go through all my posts to find something to bash me about? Lol. No one was talking about moral delimmas, just why y’all feel like it’s okay to negotiate. I bet you’re one of the negotiators.
