I've heard some rather strange attitudes expressed. I recall one outstandingly attractive lady who believed that intercourse was not acceptable according to the teachings of the Bible, but that the Biblical instructions did not forbid her performing oral sex on me or me on her. She was excellent at God's work and felt the importance of expressing herself in a manner acceptable to God. I felt obligated to allow her to follow God's word (or lack thereof).

The importance of having "the discussion" is to make sure that EVERYONE is on the same page as far as the scope of the issues and EVERYONE excepts the primary methods to be employed to assist newbies in the best decision making to assure they have productive and rewarding lives and not burden themselves with unwanted conditions or responsibilities that create potential obstacles to attaining productive and rewarding lives.

It's not a "political" agenda discussion. It's not even a social or cultural one.

It's about personal choices and providing people with the mental tools and information to make the choices that are compatible with their goals and aspirations after they have had enough information upon which to establish positive goals and aspirations. Some might call it "critical thinking."
