They're silent in public and don't have Trump bumperstickers on their cars because they don't want to be marched to HR and have to fight off racism and sexism accusations because they made somebody feel "uncomfortable."

The Russians spent very little on this.

And what little they did spend was mostly AFTER the election was over.

Their attempts of mischief did not benefit any one candidate and had no affect on the election results.

I heard about this time last year that about $18,000 of "Russian money" was traced to an ad in either Wisconsin or Minnesota against HillariousNoMore, who spent millions in those states, but didn't go there (I guess because she had them "sewn up"! .... although it could have been her bad health!)
