Getting Meds In Mexico
I will be in San Diego next month and was thinking about taking a trip to Tijuana. Can you get Viagra and Ambien there and bring it
back without a problem? Anyone know the cost, is the saving enough to justify the trip?
Oh... and pussy. Anyone know about Tijuana pussy?

My ECCIE Reviews

In my experience US customs now want to see a written perscription for the meds. I walked across...not like it used to be where you walk into a pharmacy and just ask for what you want. Most pharmacies do have a Doc next door...but when I went there was like a 3-4 hr wait to see Doc to get the script. Ambien is a controlled substance...so expect extra issues with that. Now granted you can get the meds and TRY not declaring them. You MIGHT slide and you might NOT. Wasn't worth the risk IMHO. You are better off ordering ED meds from Canada or India. Narcotics/ controlled meds are really difficult to get past customs at this point.

Yes, pussy is easily available in Tijuana (and the other border towns), but don't try to bring it back across the border with you.

There is a generic Viagra now
If you are an old codger with white hair , one can bring back most anything just so long as it is not on the DEA hotlist
A young person bringing back meds will get more scrutiny
So far I have not needed any prescription but then i am an old codger with white hair

Price for Viagra in Mexico is no different than the US.
Not sure about generics.
You can buy without a prescription but don't try to bring back without a prescription.

The Generic name for Viagra is 'Sidafil'
Technically one is allowed to bring back a 90 day supply
On a practical note it helps being a white haired old codger
It is against the law to bring back meds for other people
Do not attempt to smuggle
I saw two over dressed ladies (escorts?) try to smuggle 'grass'
Got caught SOL in a big way

I don't know about Viagra and Ambien specifically. You used to be able to buy antibiotics without a prescription in Mexico. Then about 7 or 8 years ago they passed a law, and now you're supposed to have them. I'm not sure how that affected other drugs, like Viagra and Ambien.
I would be very cautious buying Ambien without a prescription, unless you know with some certainty that it's legal in Mexico. In other words, regardless of the law, the pharmacy might sell it without a prescription. The reason I say that is because U.S. citizens have been locked up in Mexican jails for buying "controlled" substances like Valium and Xanax from Mexican pharmacies without a prescription.
