I just heard she died of an untreated infection: sepsis and septic shock the result of an UTI. Once it starts it can take you down quickly and it is also extremely painful.
The survival rate for sepsis / septic shock is about 50%, if you get immediate hospital care and about 0% if you are not in a hospital. Sepsis can quickly take down anyone.
Untreated UTI's can turn into a kidney infection and your kidneys help control your blood pressure. Once that chain reaction starts there is no stopping it unless you are in the hospital.
Olivia was alone at home and too sick to call anyone to help her.
It is a terrible and lonely way to die.
RIP Olivia!!
