Corpy, you are full of shit as usual. Over 70% of the territory was recovered by the coalition forces during Obama's term. The attack on Mosul was planned and started while Obama was in office.
Under Obama, ISIS also lost significant Iraqi cities such as Falluja, Ramadi and Tikrit.
To be sure, Trump loosened the "rules of engagement" for the US military, enabling ground commanders to more easily carry out operations without having to seek permission up the chain of command, but these are tactical changes -- not strategic game changers.
What's the problem Corpy, they didn't teach you the difference between tactical and strategic?
The mission was almost over before Trump took office.

You're a "Grubered" dildo, flighty. You blindly ignore that ISIS was born and flourished on Odumbo's watch, flighty, and how it was Trump's decision to empower the military with tactical control that allowed Trump, et al, to accomplish in a few months what Odumbo's micromanaging bullshit couldn't accomplish in five years, flighty.

Under Trump, gains against ISIS have ‘dramatically accelerated’
Brett McGurk, the State Department’s senior envoy to the anti-Islamic State coalition, said that steps President Trump has taken, including delegating decision-making authority down from the White House to commanders in the field, have “dramatically accelerated” gains against the militants.... McGurk cited “key changes” under Trump. In addition to the delegation of decision-making authority, which he said has allowed much greater responsiveness to opportunities and changing circumstances, he cited a “campaign of annihilation” that has concentrated on surrounding cities held by the militants before launching offensives, to ensure that no militants will escape.

Somebody needs to tell ISIS that Trump has defeated them!
http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/28/asia/k...ntl/index.html
Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN)ISIS has claimed responsibility for a suicide bomb attack on a Shia cultural center in Afghanistan's capital, Kabul, that left 41 people dead and dozens injured.
Two children were among the dead and 84 people were injured in the blast, according to a Health Ministry

So
Why can’t he stop the killing in America? There have been more gang members killed in American streets than ISIS put together.

We will never stop either...anyone who thinks we can or have is a fool.
The Taliban , ISIS name a group. Stop one, another one pops up.
Same with crime here in this country....plenty of guns and the wealth gap continuing to rise. Crazy to think Trump or anyone else can stop this shit.
But I guess Trump supporters feel good to say they have won the war on terror. Felt good to say Reagan defeated the Soviets without firing a shot and next thing you know the Soviets are getting Trump elected without firing a shot!

Listen to this shit... notice how WTFagboy, themistake, and flighty are all rooting for ISIS? They would rather see the cockroaches still in control of their self-proclaimed capital of Raqqa than give Trump an ounce of credit for exterminating them!

Did Odumbo stop gang related murders in the eight years he had to deal with it, mistake? He sure the fuck didn't, mistake. In fact, Odumbo and his boy Holder were trafficking high power weapons to Mexican drug gangs, mistake. So STFU and let Trump finish working his magic ... you have no room to complain until there's proof in 2024 that Trump doesn't do a better job than Odumbo did in his eight years, mistake.

+1
Yeah, we need to call out flighty for what he is - a hyper-partisan libtard hack who stupidly thinks he can "spin" and rewrite history to cover up odumbo's feckless and bumbling foreign policy blunders!
Odumbo created the vacuum that allowed ISIS to be born and flourish when he rashly and prematurely pulled all American troops out of Iraq in 2011. He put domestic politics ahead of our national security. Three years later, Mosul fell to ISIS. Now flighty wants to give odumbo the credit for sending our troops back to Iraq (and into Syria) to defeat ISIS - without acknowledging that this volte face underscored what a huge mistake it was to have withdrawn them all in the first place!
And don't forget how flighty disingenuously tried to shift the blame for odumbo's disastrous Syrian "red line" to the US Congress. Flighty thinks he can rewrite history in a desperate attempt to absolve the idiot who stupidly proclaimed the red line, and then timidly retreated from it, while the whole world watched in disbelief!

There you go again, dumbass. What's your point?
If you get cancer, do you forego ANY treatment because it may not eradicate ALL of the cancer?
Should we stop exterminating ANY of the cockroaches because we may not exterminate ALL of them?
Should we not try to save ANY Syrian babies, unless we can save ALL of them?
You are a simple-minded simpleton who clutches lame, irrational arguments because you are utterly incapable of perspective or nuance.

There you go again, you ignorant cluck. Nobody in this thread said we "have won the war on terror."
But we are fighting it properly now. Trump is scrambling to make up for odumbo's numerous strategic blunders.

All he did was let them stay on the same plan that was in place under Obama.
You are right about the micromanagement, had he made any decisions we would have been blown off the face of the earth by now.
Again, thank you MR. Obama for having the patience to let a long term plan do it's job, even if was not on a better timeline.
I have yet to hear any details about how Trump made any decisions that aided in the demise of ISIS. Only him taking credit and touting his Purple Heart LOL!
