If they are carrying shit, no harm done.

There probably isn't a whole lot of food to loot but why is it a stretch of the imagination people might take food? You spoke of people with nothing but the shirt on their backs in the "event" thread. They might take food but who would blame them?
But why would someone watching a shoe store get emptied comment about looting food and water to survive? That's hard to believe.
Pundit 1- "Look, someone is stealing flat screens from a TV store!"
Pundit 2-"People are looting food and water to survive!" That is a huge stretch to believe someone looking at one type would comment totally out of context about the other
The last poster said lots of instances. If no links, what network?
What show? What time? Sounds completely anecdotal. Always going to be some criminals.

Since "we" are "stretching the imagination" as to why common thieves would steal from businesses, had the looters had wings and more than 10% of a brain they could have FLOWN out of Florida and even stopped along the way for a snack and water at one of the 100's of shelters set up in the towns along the way.

But since they didn't have wings, they could have just walked over to one of the shelters and asked for some food! Or if REAL HUNGRY .... RUN OVER TO THE SHELTER!

Munchie ... I realize that's a novel concept to you, but ... HEY!~

how about a few links to back up what you claim?

Here is one of the sites where i've seen people defend looters. Two of the other sites are older, and no longer have forums (one was the UK's news paper site the Metro) or no longer exist.

No, "we're" not stretching the imagination. YOU are stretching the imagination to say "pundits" said people were "stealing food and water they needed to survive." while watching "Problem was someone running from a store with shoe boxes and others carrying electronic equipment."
Who said that? How do you know it was a "pundit"? What show? What network? What time? Which hurricane were they talking about?
You can't answer any of those.

You were crying about stranded people in Houston with nothing but the shirts on their backs. You remember the "event" thread, right? A city that 70% of the damaged properties didn't have flood insurance. A city that had 3 or 4 days to evacuate and stayed put.

(I don't know if there is a link, but I did hear a comment or two on the television coverage that someone "pundit" had made the comment they were stealing food and water they needed to survive.

Problem was someone running from a store with shoe boxes and others carrying electronic equipment.) That was your statement.

What the fuck does "that someone "pundit" had made" mean?

I understand why people might steal food to survive. Most people do and understand the difference between food and tennis shoes.
You obviously don't.
I can't speak for others but if I had to take food now to survive, I would make sure I repaid the value later. If HEB said to forget about the $50 worth of food I took, I would give $50 to the relief effort.
You would leave the safety of the roof and go 2 miles past the HEB through raging flood waters (2 to 20 feet deep. No way for you to know in advance) to get to a shelter that you HOPE has food and that you HOPE is still there and you HOPE isn't 200 people over capacity already?
You're either a complete and total liar.....
Or it's time to cull the herd.

Add in the fact you're stuck on the roof of your house which means you don't have a fucking clue where the shelters are.

The following is my statement.(There probably isn't a whole lot of food to loot but why is it a stretch of the imagination people might take food?) Food is a survival item. Food, not tennis shoes. I specifically asked for details to prove you weren't being the "anecdotal asshole". And I'm still waiting for proof.
Instead of continuing with practicalities of survival, you veer out to question the motives, the physical attributes (wings and brain size) of the criminals and their travel itineraries. Then you talk about walking or running to shelters acting as if there is no flooding in Florida.

Just STFU. How have you survived? It's obvious your mother's basement didn't flood.

Munchie ... I realize that's a novel concept to you, but ... HEY!~
Whenever you talk about a comprehension problem, it's your problem. You're out in the right field bullpen shagging balls because you can't keep up with the game. I asked questions about statements you made. You wouldn't and couldn't give answers that backed your claims.
On the other hand, when I claim you have a comprehension problem,
I try to show why I'm making the claim. Given the chance to refute, you come up with something like, "Why would I tell you?
You're too stupid to understand." In other words, you can't. To be honest though, if you didn't catch it the first time, you won't the second.
Or you did get it but are playing stupid. Something you're very good at.

You made a claim.
I asked for proof. You couldn't show any
You couldn't back your words up so you go to right field and talk about running or walking (or flying if you have wings) through a flood brought on by a category 5 hurricane to get a snack

So no actual example. From a real source.
You said a lot. This isn't a lot.
And it's the same as a hooker board. This is opinion, not fact.
In other words, you might have heard an anonymous, unidentifiable person say something or other. Could be a liberal pretending to be a conservative. Could be a klansman pretending to be human.

Next.

I do have a CC permit and this is Kansas.
Well if you read all the books from the Dark Tower series and liked them you're going to be seriously disappointed by that turd of a movie they just put out.

You don't know if you really saw this?

Or you don't know if you might have imagined it?

Are we on the cyst of yet another LLiarMan denial discussion?

Shouldn't we first consult the Naples Tourist Bureau and find out what they think about sharks?

Surely you can come up with a new lie that causes another bumpghazi?
