Ive had 11inches of rain. Some roads flooded but we got a little break. Saying up to 24in coming total by Thursday morning. Dang that sounds like a kinky sex party lol lots of inches

It comes in bands. One minute it's pouring, next it's not.
Sometimes sun comes out. I suspect it will only get worse once Harvey heads this way in a couple days.
I am working in LC for a couple days, driven out of Corpus last week.
Now I may be driven out of here. But not sure where next.

Seriously, if you live in a flood-prone area or low lying area, it's time for a vacation until
the situation is stable. Remember, that the rivers still have to crest, so more flooding may be coming to flood plain near streams.
