Default Eclipse?

Anyone traveling to get a close-up view of the solar eclipse?

Who cares? It's a good way to go blind.

OARN: I'm wondering if there is a place in Houston I can pick up some of the necessary sunglasses? I tried a couple places in D.C. and there's a limited quantity at most of the places each day so I missed my luck several times. I'll be back on Monday but don't want to scramble

I wish! But classes start for me and I'll be in a 6 hr class. So I probably won't even be able to go outside to see it.

Probably your liberal professors will keep everyone inside to keep them from seeing any scientific facts.

Modern day professors are trying to rule the world with opinions.

Even google fired that biologist the other day for stating men and women behave differently because of gender.

Wish I had a 10 pak of those glasses. I think you could sell/trade them for 10 hour long sessions based on the demand.

It's an organic chemistry lab, no professor there. I'm getting a degree in science. Science is based on facts. Although it is arguable that science itself is a religion. But that's another conversation. But I do understand your argument.

Despite that, I don't have glasses so I wouldn't be able to look up.

They are offering seats on a flight for 10k a piece at the private airport in Sugarland. Apparently they will be flying to where the view is 100% from, have a little picnic & then return home.

If this is an expenditure you can afford, message me, we need to talk

Damn! I've never taken a 6 hour class, there is no way I could make it though that.
